My brother and I were riding down the street 3 years ago, both of us sitting on the same skateboard. This is stupid and dangerous, so don’t do this at home.
Anyway, we both got on the skateboard, and started to push off with our hands to gain momentum down the street. Somehow the middle finger of my left hand got under the hard-rubber wheel of the skateboard, crushed it, and tore the fingernail completely off. That I can say with honesty the most physically painful experience. My finger’s doing fine, however, and the fingernail has completely grown back and doing fine.
I seem to have a knack with getting my fingers hurt. When I was way, way younger I got a car door slammed on one finger. No blood that time. |

| My personally most painful time was when I was learning to ride my bike. Unfortunately that was before helmets were mandated and I wasn’t wearing one. I was riding close to the curb and wound up turning to the left very sharply. The bike stopped all forward momentum, and fell to the right. My head impacted the edge of the curb at high velocity and I sat stunned for a moment. By the time that tears had time to form, I got up, ran inside (a distance of about 50 feet) and proceeded to call for my mom. She says that when I got to her, my forehead had a bump above my right eye the size of a goose egg (I was probably around 6 to 8... I’m not exactly sure). In the emergency room they wound up doing x-rays to make sure no bone fragments had gone from my skull into my brain. None were found and they labeled me a very lucky individual. I had black eyes for a very long time and I still to this day have a permanent dent in my skull from the accident. |

Gee, everyone else seems to have pretty painful stories to tell. Me, I’m not sure what hurt the most; but I did get stitches that one time when I was jumping from one bed to another and missed the bed and landed full force with my chin on the wooden frame of the bed. But I was only like 5 so I can’t remember if it hurt or not. |

When I was about 4, a ran right into one of the metal shelves that is in a Grocery store. To say the least, I had about 15 stitches and a scar to this day. |

My worst pain was when I was about five or six. I was entertaining myself by bouncing up and down on my bed, slamming my face onto my pillow.
Then I missed and hit the head of the bed right between my eyes. Really hard.
End result: two black eyes that swelled to cover pretty much my entire face for I dunno how long.
The worst part? I did it again about six months later
Not as bad that time, but.... |

That sounds like something my brother did when he was that age... jumping on my parents’ bed, and fell over. He hit his head on a hammer that happened to be on the bed as well. Don’t ask why the hammer was there, lol. I have no idea. |

When I came to Abraham I let him live just a moment longer. When I came to Moses I saved his life more than once. But the salmon... I regret to say I had a hand in its death.
