The whole name implys that you are better than everyone else. An Elitist is
a stuck-up person who thinks everyone else is snot. tOO seems to be an
elitist. |

| Then again, we’re not "elitists", we’re "Elites", that’s how we call each other in-group. So, sorry, wrong argument. |

What’s the difference? If you’re "Elite", you’re implying that you’re of a higher caliber than the others around you. Which in turn actually does make you elitist.
And in response to that argument regarding the name "CC Council"...that name was chosen with the intention of referencing LOTR, and also of fostering a connection to CC, since-after all-we are a CC group. As compared to a group who has nothing to do with CC...
Would Cobra really have a "Council" to help run his forums?? |

| It’s A NAME, for God’s sake! If you don’t like it, don’t join! If your group’s name feels diminished, change it! Why are we arguing about it? It’s OUR Group, so as long as we follow the rules (no names of members on the title), what’s the big deal? Do you REALLY feel diminished, next to us, CG? Seriously? We WANTED you in our group since day 1! So either join us (I think you should), and share our goals (and titles), or get over it, we’re not changing our name, period. We liked the idea of the name, our group DOES have only a few members, so the idea of the name (a group of a few people) suits us well. |

That’s exactly why I put bto on probation.
About what AC said, how could that be done better in an individual group, than just open to everyone. What is the difference between our 2 clubs?
btw, it is just a name, stop bugging them on that. |

This thread is awesome. By the way, AC, I’ll help you spam the CCC threads. |
| I had to put something here. |

| You’re technically not allowed, per the explicit instructions in the very first sentences of the thread... |
