Commence Random.
So I have this fascination with ants. I think they’re really cool, and a whole lot more intelligent than they’re given credit for. Did you know that ’older’ ants teach the younger ones all sorts of neat little tricks? Like how to follow a pheromone trail that another ant produces and how to walk on different surfaces (sometimes by walking sideways).
I dunno. I’m sure I’ll be laughed at for this one...
Do YOU like ants?
*Sigh* ... I’m, obviously, very tired... As Brad ordered, I’ll... go sit in the corner now. |
Riddle 9
When I came to Abraham I let him live just a moment longer. When I came to Moses I saved his life more than once. But the salmon... I regret to say I had a hand in its death.

Nah, I get fascinated by things like that, too. Not ants, but other similar stuff.
For example, did you know that ants and aphids often live together? Ants like honeydew that aphids naturally produce, using it like an energy drink. The ants, in turn, protect the aphids from predators and even guide them to better eating and living spots when the ants discover them. |

| Ants can do some pretty amazing stuff. I’ve heard of them using part of their colony to make an "ant bridge" in order to get somewhere. In this case, they had to cross a sea of glue, so the bridge ants died. |

Yeah, for instance fire ants will all link together into a sphere and float across a river, swimming to that the sphere rolls, and they all get time to breath. (hey, I like ants too!)
Have you ever heard of ’gravedigger’ ants? Well, sometimes the workers will drag the dead bodies of other ants away from the colony to prevent disease, etc.
My ant farm a few years ago (this is really wierd...) had a mummification specialist, apparently. They wrapped up one of the bodies in some cotton that was sitting in there, and dug a long tunnel, and buried it all mummified down there. All the others just got tossed into a pile on the other end of the farm. |

God has a fasination with ants, well not really a fasination, he knows all about them, but he talks about them a good bit in the Bible.

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

Ants are awesome. I would dig up ant colonies, find like 5 queens, along with 200 workers, and then watch them do the rest. We don’t have many ants left in the neighborhood. |

There was an article in National Geographic that was about the different ants. Have you seen any tv shows that had people getting eaten by ants? I have seen a few. Is that realistic? |
