Has anybody looked at hard core guns. all metal gears, super power (400 fps.) I want one, but they are expensive. Thanks for adding that option AC.
I personally prefere it to paintball, but I have only played paintball once.
here are a few reasons i like it.
1 You can play with people you know, and hangout after ward
2 ammo and weapons are cheaper
3 weapons are more realistic looking
4 it can be used for Millitary training
5 it is all around fun |

Most of those points you listed there can be said about paintball, but yes, airsoft is generally cheaper and the weapons can look more like real weapons.

A church we are attending now holds a paintball program every sunday afternoon. I’ve considered trying it, but dreading anticipation of the huge bruises you get. I also have to wear a face mask (do they do that in Airsoft?) and a thick sweater.

here is another thing to be said of airsoft
You can wear regular close, and eye gear.
when i went paintballing, i was pants and a short sleeved shirt, i never got one bruse on me.
you can get some bruises with airsoft, but not to terribly horrible.
