Who’s seen it? Did you like it?
I saw it last night, I thought it was good. The book is waaaaaaaaaaay better though. Why can’t everything be directed by Peter Jackson? He would have put in everything.
No dwarves. *sigh*. That’s horrible. Durza’s death was totally wrong. The final fight was 10 minutes of flying on a dragon. And my favorite character of the books (Angela) got like 2 minutes of screen time, and I felt wasn’t portrayed nearly well enough. They left out stories of characters I thought were very important in the second book (Angela, Solembaum, Ajihad, Joed, Roran, Albreich, Baldor, Orik, Hrothgar...)
The Ra’zac were... not Ra’zac.

they are making a hobbit move, but PJ isn’t making it, because New Line is fed up with him.
He is sueing them for ’money they still owe him’. but they are making the hobbit!!  |

fingolfin, i noticed your buckey katt quote. "the hills are alive with the sound of monkey". i love it. but i pretty much love anything buckey says. i guess you could say i’m a firm get fuzzy fan.
so what were the ra’zac? if they weren’t ra’zac. |

...yeah, because in the LotR trilogy I saw, PJ included the Tom Bombadil/Old Man Willow stuff, didn’t bring Elves to Helm’s Deep, and definitely included the Sacking of the Shire... |

| PJ did a mediocre job IMHO. I haven’t read the book of Eragon (BTW, what’s the name?) but the movie got me really excited! |
