Ok, not to sound like a complainer or jealous, whatever, but...why is it that lately, whenever a new person joins, they are immediately bombarded by "Welcome, have a GP!!!!!!!!!"? For example, shieldelf here, joined today, has 4 posts, and already has 4 GP. I joined at the end of October, have contributed a number of times since, including several trades with fellow forum members, and also have 4 GP. I know that GP aren’t anything special, but really, they are something extra for the members here to give out at their discretion based on participation, aren’t they?
Like I said, I’m not out to complain or try to get free GP, but I really think that these "welcome" GP’s are getting a little out of hand and that they should be handed out with a little more consideration for deservedness. (Not that I don’t think you won’t be a valued member of the CC Forums Community, shieldelf, but all you’ve said was "hi"  ) |

AS I SAID, I was not "GP begging"...just pointing out that those who award GPs should do so when the recipient is deserving, not as a welcome present. |
