I am wondering if anyone here does track and field, and if so, what events?
I dont do track, but I went to the Drake Relays (if you are in track you probably have heard of the Drake Relays) this afternoon with some friends and it was pretty sweet.
Somehow my youth pastor got us into a VIP tent with lots of food and some cute servers..anyway we got to watch a lot of 100 meter dashes both College and High School, some sprint Medleys again both HS and College.
Their were 4x400s, 800 m runs etc.
The best was the 800 meter invite. About 20 oldish guys ran.
One of them set a new drake 800 invite record, that guy was about 50 feet ahead of everybody else!
Anway post if you have done track and what you have done.
If we have any pole vaulters that would be sweet. |

Only back in middle school. I did short-distance running and shot put. I did okay in a couple of the sprints, but there’s no way I’d be able to compete now unless I did long-distance. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |
