It is back where it belongs! For those of you interested in football in jolly old England I am sure you are aware Manchester United won the Premiership.

Sorry lem0nhead I had to do it! Respect to the way Mourinho took it.

See you on Wednesday!

I think they are talking about soccer, bto. In England, I’m pretty sure they call soccer "football".

LOL bto, im afraid Americans nicked the word football from us brits and made into into the NFL where you dont use your feet but your hands which ill never understand. The NFL came long after football had been established as the game you know as soccer so again im not quite sure why it was changed to the word football for the USA. What you call soccer is what is really football.

Anyway the top league in England is The F.A (the football association) Premier League, or the Premiership for short. It has 20 teams with the bottom 3 getting relegated at the end of the season. This year the race to win top spot has been between Chelsea (Thumbs Up) and Manchester United (Thumbs Down). However with 2 games left Man Utd have won the title which makes me very upset, but the domestic cup competition called the F.A. Cup is on May 19th and it happens to be Man U vs Chelsea. So hoping I get revenge on TheJord’s team.

They are not rivals in that they are close geographically like Manchester City and Manchester Utd which are obviously going to be rivals, but the last few seasons have seen a fight for the League title between Chelsea and Man U so they have become bitter rivals because both are damn good teams competing for the same things.

I knew that football meant soccer but was unsure about this FA league.

Isn’t Manchester United the team that had David Beckham?
I have heard of Chelsea from Alex Rider books by Anthony Horowitz., other then that I don’t know much about UK soccer.

Yeah Man U was where Beckham started as a kid and became the famous footballer he is before he moved to Real Madrid and now LA Galaxy.

Chelsea are a london based team who got bought by russian billionaire Roman Abramovich and in the last 3 seasons he’s spent like £300 million on players (so like $600 million in your terms) for them so they are a really good team now.

What can I say about all this? Hum... Brasil RULES! The last Brittish team to cross a brazillian one was Liverpool, who played against São Paulo for the club’s world cup, and was beaten! Twisted Evil Not to mention, England lost to Brazil the last time they played in the world cup, with one heck of a goal from Ronaldinho. Wink (although he was expelled from the game later...)
I don't like YOU.

Point conceded, Brazil has a much better team. But all your players play in Europe! Its the place to be!
