| I’m just curious what type of school you guys go to and the pros and cons of it. I myself go to a public school with a few thousand people, it’s cool because you get to hang out with new chums all the time and there are lots of parties, but at the same time it kinda sucks because you never really have a "best friend" you just have different "cliques" that you hang out with. |

Was going to a private school, will go to a private college. And I think it’s something of an intermediate. I was homeschooled for some time, then slowly transferred into private school.
And I think that my social life definitely improved with the jump to private school. More people to meet, and there were definitely different organizations within the school. Stuff like debate, robotics, scholars’ bowl... |

Homeschooled. It’s a little-known fact that less people die in a homeschooling classroom than public schools.
That’s not the reason why we chose homeschool. Just my parent’s vision. |

I am homeschooled..but have taken woods classes at the local public school.
If I didn’t go to a large church I wouldn’t have much of a social life outside of the guys in my neighborhood. Being homeschooled does mean that your chances of getting a GF are pretty hard.. |

| In the Netherlands we’ve got freedom of education, but homeschooling doesn’t apear much. Until kids are 16 years of age, you’re obliged to visit a school. There must be very good reasons why you can keep your child at home. All schools get a budget (special -christian, islamic- and regularschools) with which they must finance their activities. I myself teach at a small christian school. We’ve got 200 pupils and it’s awesome! Being a teacher must be the best thing there is....... |

u went to public schooling, and i thought it was great. aside from what PT said, i have made a best friend (i think), but i also agree with PT that it becomes just a bunch of cliques by the ending of ur academic career. BtO, dont worry, u’ll get a GF soon enuf hahah jk no offense =] |

Homeschooled. And its awesome. We have a huge community, as a matter of fact, last weekend, we had a conference where a couple thousand homeschoolers got together. Pretty cool. And then I have some friends who get together for LotR parties monthly, and I get to see them fairly often for other things. And we do a lot of stuff you public school kids do, only maybe not so frequently. Like jamming to tobyMac’s new album Portable Sounds. |
