Who here loves SC I and is really excited about SC II?
Ive been reading up on it and sounds awesome. Besides the new units you’d have to look at yourself (omg the Viking!) it now includes an idle unit button unlimited unit selection and loads of other great tweaks the classic needed.
Anyone a fan? |

| Heck yeah! The announcement came out the day my best friend got married. It was my "duty" as best man to find out all I could before we got together to head down to the wedding location. I’m really looking forward to some of the changes! |

Awesome MH! Im not alone!
What do you think of the new Viking, what race did u play? I never liked zerg, protoss were fun for attacking with carriers but terran were fun with stanks. |

Generally I was a turtle so I really liked the terran units. Favorite strategy was the tank crawl combined with Goliaths, marines and medics.
I liked the zerg, but the were so bad in the late game that I never really played them much. Too much dependency on Vespene.
The protoss were fun but the game has basically become who can build carriers the fastest...
Overall I think the game has been superbly designed and balanced and I eagerly await the new game to see how well they balance it. |

Yep, count me in as another SC fan! Can’t wait to get my hands on the new goodies. Have you seen the Thor? If looks could kill all the opposing units would go splat whenever it’s built, instead of waiting for the formality.
Agreed that the gameplay balance has been superb. And I don’t mind the "dumbing down" of, say, having only one High Templar cast Psionic Storm when you have a whole group of them selected. Bring on the ability to have SCVs automatically mine when you set their rally point to a crystal.
I could never play Zerg well with that whole expendable mentality and constantly amassing swarms. Protoss was my favorite race gameplay- and story-wise. |

Cool only just noticed u replied ES. Another SC fan sweet!
Yeah thor looks beasty. he has to dig in the ground to fire his artillery though so he’ll need protection support.
Yeah SCVs sound awesome now, theres an idle worker button and like in AoE if youre under attack u can garrison ur scvs in the command centre and the CC can attack ive heard. Cool!
Yeah i sucked at Zerg to, though guardians were funny as they had a silly range! I doubt whatever they do to them this time will make me use them. protoss look smart but terran look kick ass. Cant wait to build a fleet/ army of vikings. |

I’m just glad they brought back the Battlecruiser. My favorite race is Terran, and my favorite unit, by far, is the good ol’ BC. I had it down to a science where I could rush to mass battlecruisers and slaughter opponents who were still working through the second-tier units.
My VERY favorite strategy after Brood War came out, though, was to play Protoss and mind control an SCV. Then I’d build a Command Center and start a Terran tech tree. I usually only took it high enough to get bunkers full of marines (and maybe some tanks, if I had the time) and a few medics to help out my Zealots and Templar, but when I had the chance, I’d go for combining Carriers and Battlecruisers for an ultimate fleet.
Yeah, as you’ve probably guessed, I liked to turtle in my base and fend off attacks while building up big, overwhelming forces to eventually attack with. More often than not, it actually worked, too.
I am a HUGE Starcraft fan...probably still my favorite game of all time. The first online community I really got into (and continue to hang around in) was based around The Antioch Chronicles add-on campaign for Starcraft. If you have never heard of it, go get it and play it RIGHT NOW. You won’t be disappointed. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Hey cool DI is an SC-er!!! Sweet yeah terran are cool. Did you know the new BC’s that you build you have to specify at the time of construction whether u want it to specialise in air to air or air to ground assault?
Everything sounds so cool!!!
P.s. Yeah DI mind controlling an SCV for stank defense was great! |
