Nah... Big deal. Surely, it was the most cinematographic act of terrorism EVER, but even though, I can’t bear to see how it’s magnificized, while how many Cubans, Iraqi, etc, the US kills in policital/military maneuvers, right?
Although, I’ll give you it IS a shocking scene to watch, still. |

| Today, at least salute the valor of those who sacrificed their lives to save others. If you don’t care anything about American patriotism, which, not being American, you wouldn’t, PLEASE at least don’t barge in and downplay the heroism shown that day. I DON’T want this to become a political argument, there are other threads for those. |

| NOW, you got me wrong! American patriotism is AMAZING, it’s a role-model for the rest of the world. In fact, I wish brazilians were as patriotic as you guys are, it sucks to see how many brazilians just don’t give a rat’s behind to our country! I’m very fond of the firefighters who died that day, and I actually had to get a grip not to cry watching American Chopper when they built the Firefighter bike, but I just can’t bear to see the "act of terrorism" being put on the pedestal it’s currently on, that’s all. The consequences, however, specially those firefighters that DIED trying to save others, THAT touches me. Like that chinese standing alone in front of the tanks, for instance. Stuff like this. |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

| It was cool, at my campus one of the student groups had lined a lot of the walkways with American flags. |

| I can still hardly think about it and NOT cry. I can’t imagine had I really KNOWN someone who fell that day. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |
