As I’ve been browsing the forums, I noticed several distinct cultures which seem to be similar geographically.
I thought I’d post my observations and see if people wanted to contribute.
Americans:
Political Stance: Mixed. Leaning more conservative on these boards.
Favorite Sport: FOOTBALL!
TCG Contribution: Low
Further Observations: Tend to spam excessively. Have no life and are proud of it. Contribute much to the CC structure, without contributing as much to the actual discussion. We set the pace, and then tend to leave.
Brits: (and some other Europeans)
Political Stance: Usually Liberal.
Favorite Sport: Soccer.
TCG Contribution: Good
Further Observations: Tend to try to appear thoughtful. Have a life but can’t figure out what it is. Contribute more content than structure to the boards. They can sit down and have a discussion instead of starting one and leaving.
Greeks:
Political Stance: What’s politics? Shut up and trade.
Favorite Sport: LotR TCG
TCG Contribution: High
Further Observations: Have a life. Its called Lord of the Rings. Obsessed with FOIL cards. Don’t care about anything except LotR (Corvus contributes a little more). Have a distinct "Greeklish" clique, hierarchical system and all. players.
Felipe Musco:
A culture all of his own.
Political Stance: I don’t think even he knows.
Favorite Sport: Basketball (not soccer).
TCG Contribution: High.
Further Observations: Has a life called MtG. Very sarcastic. Unpredictable spammer in a very dignified, sarcastic way. Is a lawyer and loves a good debate, especially when it turns into a flame war.
Any other observations about this? |

What if the hokey pokey really IS what its all about?
As I lay in bed staring at the stars last night, I thought to myself, "where the heck is the ceiling?"

I’m 33,33% of this part so i’ll represent myself.
I haD a life based on LOTR TCG for 2 years. But it’s over. Little do i care anymore. No hierachy here, we are just 3 friends with a common hobby. Players? Damn good. |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

Small correction, though, favorite sport is basketball. Common mistake when dealing with brazilians, though, so it’s all good. |

Popcorn is not gooey like fat, and also not crunchy like potato chips, but crispy like lettuce which makes it a healthy snack. |

Too busy spamming the member’s lounge. Seriously, the Greeks and Brits are a much smaller culture on the forums and they contribute AT LEAST the same, if not more to the game.
Do you think that applies to you Spam-Lord? |
