<For information about the assassin game, please visit this thread. All posts below were split off of the linked thread above and constitute the entirety of the Assassin 7 game.> ~M_H
When the surprising news of machetman’s odd events rolled in across the radio and i realised his reign of evil had come to an end, thanks to the meddling cop known only as Lemon, it was time to take action.
It was late at night, and i decided to do what macheteman really didnt do. Execute some people. well i’m bored. what can i say? im more of an old school killer.
As i attached various blades, knives and my trusted samurai sword to my body, i was deciding in my head who was to be my first lucky target.
Should i ruffle some feathers and murder a cop or should i make life hard for them and attack random civilians. ah the joys of free will.
Armed and ready i set out from my dingy no-questions-asked motel. i slipped through the shadows avoiding the bright lights of the city. Darkness was my friend, i was at home in the inky black, where no one knew what could await them. it would be so easy to slip up behind an unsuspecting victim walking the dog or drinking a soda..... and slide my sp1 combat knife across their throat. Im always eager for that first kill of the day, when i can feel the fine line between life and death, with the control in the palm of my hand, as i watch them draw their last breath as life slips away.
But no. It was too easy. and the cops were getting far too arrogant.
I passed an old war shop where someone had made chalk marks on the wall.

That seemed a good place to start. I think ill take my victim down in 24 hours. it will give me chance to get a hot dog or something. and the cops to sweat a bit while they wait with the threat of the unknown hanging over them. life is good.
Any cops out there brave enough who reckon they can stop me? I will allow 5 cops with 2 arrest warrants each to challenge me. |

Signed me back up, If I can be an officer again.
BTW - Lem0n IMed me saying he wanted to be a cop as well, and since he hasn’t posted yet I thought I’d relay the message for him.
PS - I know the next victim I place Macheteman under protection. It was morse code it broke down too read: "hejetlung", the it became an anagram which translates to "the jungle", which is Macheteman’s Location. I will place Macheteman under protection.

My GPS PDA informed me that the taskforce dedicated to stopping me had been chosen, the first 5 eager, yet foolish, volunteers had been chosen. Officers Palantirs, Barden, Korn, Hippo and Troll were on the case. they would not get many chances. it was a high profile case with no room for slip ups or unwanted media attention.
In the early hours of the morning before dusk i decided to scope the area out, get a feel for the location so i was at home on my hunting ground.
i rested for a while as it was a long way, but eventually folded up my newsheet and placed it on the ground while i drained my hipflask and tucked it back in my jacket. I sharpened my lucky knife just in case and headed out.
I moved through the dense undergrowth noting memorable trees and plant formations for when i made my quiet but quick withdrawal after macheteman’s death.
After a few circuits of the zone, a telltale snap of a branch echoed through the silence, clearly audible among the insect chirps.
I circled the area and caught a glimpse of movement high in a tree. Pirched among the branches was Nappykorn in camo gear, sniper rifle trained in the direction that i would have murdered mm tonight.
the hunt was off. the cops had already reached him well within the deadline. well i’ll just have to make sure next time i make it harder for them.
After the assassin left the jungle, one of the patrolling cops discovered two things.
A footprint had left an impression in the mud, the shoe size appeared to be 15, an imprint was marked and stored as evidence in the ongoing investigation box. and a newsheet left lying with some random numbers in the margin.
The newspaper was folded to a page on internet shares:
The latest Internet stock offered to the public has soared on its initial stock market listing.
Shares in TheStreet.com, a website devoted to financial information, were trading on the NASDAQ market at $73 minutes after the stock opened - a premium of $54, or 300%, on its initial price of $19 per share.
The shares ended their first day of trading at $60 a share, with more than 12 million shares changing hands - two and half times the 5.5m shares that were available to the public.
"I don’t think this is a stock that is being played heavily by the institutional investors," said Vincent Slavin of Cantor Fitzgerald. "This is one that appeals to the retail guys, the gamblers."
What relevance did this have to the case if any? And what did the jottings mean?
3.2.1 2.14.3 4.11.1
2.5.1 4.1.1 4.33.5 1.2.1
1.10.6 2.32.3 3.18.6
As i left the jungle i was annoyed at my own sloppiness at leaving my paper behind but also amused at my own skill and intelligence. the first kill had been postponed but that makes the next target even better. I hoped the cops were having as much fun as i was...
I will have my prize. sooner or later. it doesnt matter.
