This organization is dedicated to USEFUL spammers.
GOALS:
We will spam in a dignified manner.
We will review posts in the Deck Clinics, DC Forum, and Strategy Article Contest.
We will not stoop to the level of pointless spam, such as spam constituting a smiley or one word, unless in the member’s lounge or unless that spam is considered useful in some way.
CONSTITUTION:
Preamble
We the spammers of CobraCards hereby swear to uphold this constitution of The Spammers organization, and to this end we pledge our honor and dignity as a spammer of CobraCards.
Article 1: Joining The Spammers
Section 1: TCG Masters- Any person with 1000 posts or greater in areas of the forum excepting the member’s lounge may join
Section 2: Members who are not TCG Masters- Any person with between 500 and 1000 posts may join The Spammers condition upon a 50% vote of the populace.
Section 3: Low-posting members- Members with fewer than 500 posts will be allowed to join the organization on the promise of constructive reviewing of the boards and a unanimous decision of The Spammers.
Section 4: Oath of Office- All members upon joining The Spammers must swear or affirm to uphold the constitution of The Spammers.
Article 2: Standards for Members of The Spammers
Section 1: Posting Requirements- A member of The Spammers is expected to post at least 2 productive posts per week in one of the qualified sections.
Section 2: Productive Posts- Any post that is designed to aid or help a member of CobraCards, containing substantial critique and review is considered a substantial post.
Section 3: Qualified Sections- In order for any post to be deemed productive, it must be made in one of the following locations.
-LotR TCG Strategy Article Contest
-LotR TCG Deck Clinics
-LotR TCG Dream Cards
-MtG Strategy Article Contest
-MtG Deck Clinics
-MtG Dream Cards
-WoW TCG Strategy Article Contest
-WoW TCG Deck Clinics
-WoW TCG Dream Cards
Article 3: Suspension and Expulsion of Members
Section 1: Failure to Post- If a person fails to post constructive reviews at least twice a week, vacations excepting, he or she may be warned. Under conditions of repeat offense, any member may bring a motion to suspend the person until they once again begin reviewing.
Section 2: Offensive Character- If a member posts something that is deemed offensive by another member, the offended member may present a complaint to The Spammers. The offending person may be expelled by a 2/3 vote of the members.
Article 4: Ranks
Section 1: Special Ranks- Upon entry, each member will be given a special and unique rank in the organization, along with such duties as go along with the aforesaid rank, if any. If a member objects to a rank that requires the performance of certain duties, he or she may be given a rank that requires no duties.
Section 2: Current Ranks- The ranks and duties of the members of The Spammers shall be posted directly below the constitution on the first post of the first page of The Spammers Official Thread.
Section 3: Rank Suspension- Any party that has been expelled or suspended immediately forfeits his rank and all duties that are attached to said rank.
Article 5: The Presiding Officer
Section 1: The Presiding Officers Duties- The duties of the Presiding Officer is to accept motions and proposals and direct members during the conduction of business as to which proposals receive votes and other procedures of orderly business.
Section 2: Assigning Ranks- The Presiding Officer shall be given the power to assign ranks with consent of the party receiving said rank.
Section 3: Assistants- The Presiding Officer may if he so chooses, appoint up to 2 members of The Spammers to serve as Vice-Officers of the Spammers. These persons take the responsibilities of The Presiding Officer in case of his absences.
Section 4: Resignation- The Presiding Officer may abdicate if he so wishes, at which time nomination for a new Presiding Officer shall be taken and a simple majority may appoint a new Presiding Officer out of the nominees by a simple majority. No person shall be forced against his or her will to take the rank of Presiding Officer.
Section 5: Forced Abdication- At which time a Presiding Officer sets himself up as a threat to the well-being of this society, a 2/3 majority shall remove him from office, at which point the election of a new Presiding Officer shall proceed as aforementioned.
Article 6: Adoption of Further Rules
Section 1: Constitutional Amendments- The amendment of any part of the Constitution may only be adopted by the vote of 2/3 of the members of The Spammers.
Section 2: Further Laws- Any further laws must receive a simple majority including the Presiding Officer or a 2/3 majority to override the presiding officer.
Article 7: Name Change
A name change of this organization may be made within one week of the original authorship of the Constitution by a simple majority, or otherwise by a 2/3 majority.
Ratified by NBarden, Founder, this day, November 9th, 2007, and approved by all following members.

| Nothing personal, man, but I think this is just TOO structured. I understand what you’re trying to do, and I appreciate the thought and time you’ve obviously put into this already. But personally, I think this is what killed the Chosen Ones. |

| Its not really that structured. There’s structure for joining, and then you can negotiate with the Presiding Officer to get ranks. And you have to make 2 posts per week, all decisions by simple or 2/3 majority depending on what decision is being made. The other rules will be very rarely used, if ever. Like suspension, new Presiding Officer, etc. |

| This reminds me of the Chosen Ones. But, we’ll see how this organization comes along. And, in the meantime, I’ll take the suggestion to be a little more helpful of a spammer. |
