depending on whether CG or AD are cops we have 4-5....so i will give you your clue, and you get a fifth cop.
the 4 cops were waiting at the police station, eating donuts and drinking coffee.
Suddenly the phone rang. The operator picked it up and listened for a few seconds. "Its for you" she said, from some chap called "Incognito" The officers hurried over, and listened. From the receiver came a recording, obviously doctored.
"Never had prices so sleepy, Cousin Bob, My corn is getting nothin on the
.*static* "Tell me about it I hope things wake up or I won’t break even" static*
Kool-aid is the best for you! no caffeine, so you can go to sleep! *static*
. I sure hope *static* then a voice came clear and loud "You have 24 hours to solve the clue. I strike tomorrow." |

Sleep...Kool-Aid...and corn. Could be something to do with farming, or insomnia...hmmm. I’m trying to see some type of pattern in the words, but nothing looks very obvious.
There’s obviously an emphasis on sleep, or sleepiness, as each section touches on it. Maybe the words in *static* are important? The first one could be "market" and the last one "so"...the others might not even be words.
