Are there are fellow CC’ers who play Rise of Nations? If you do, feel free to post a screen shot or two.

This screen shot was taken during one of my more recent games. I had just captured Winchester as the Germans and my bombers were off to bomb the enemy capital. My Tigers, Volksgrenadiers and howitzers are attacking a few English tanks in the far upper right-hand corner.:

This screen shot is from the same game later in the battle. My bombers are hitting the Brit’s main wonder and my army has arrived in the intention of pwning their last city:

Sort of. It pwns AoE II though. The resources work better and I hardly ever play
AoE II these days...

Haven’t played RoN. I’m playing AoE3 right now, which is really dang cool.

AoE III is awesome all if the graphics will work on your computer. Razz

Actually, that new Empire Earth looks sweet. Where you can actually conquer the entire world. Twisted Evil

I really never liked Airplanes in these games. That’s why my favorite game is still AoE II. If you’re better than someone else in Empire Earth 1, for example, you can easily start at the beginning and bust on through to the robo-soldiers while your opponent’s are still in the medieval era. And that’s not fun. Its just too easy to get so far ahead of your opponent. Confused Whereas in AoE, its balanced.

I never really liked Empire Earth. Age of Empires II was my favorite game for
ages, (forgive the pun) and I’ve only had RON since October. With the expansion (which I don’t have) it’s $20.00 and by itself it’s $10.00. I’ve wasted far too many hours on it... Laughing

AoE 3 is awesome. But I think AoE2 is best for multiplayer PvP. AOe 3 is better for playing with your friends. I have 2 friends who have 2 computers hooked up...good times.

I love Age Of Empires, great game! I haven’t played Rise Of Nations in quite a while. Right now, I’m really loving the Total War series. It’s such a rush when I can beat an army twice the size of mine, by using terrain, ambush, and knowing which parts of my army will work best against which parts of my enemy’s army. Excellent game!

I also love Civilization 4. The first Civilization is what got me into strategy games in the first place.
Trade With Me, I went to Middle Earth, and all I got was this stupid ring!
