...then, from there, on a cruise ship.
In hindsight, now that I’ve found out my wife is pregnant, I’m wishing we’d booked a slightly less expensive vacation. It’s pretty cheap for a cruise, but still...it’s a CRUISE.
Anyway, we’re flying out tomorrow night and I won’t be back until super-late March 31st (or super-early April 1st, depending on how you look at it). Prep for that, madness at work, and masses of schoolwork at home have combined to make this a light DC week for me, but I hope to throw a few more out before I leave tomorrow, so don’t despair, faithful regular reviewers. Just prepare to have nothing new from me after that until...well, next month! Not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing....
Hopefully this will be a little less...uh...eventful than our honeymoon cruise. Yep, we were aboard during the described "incident". |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Ah Dain...Gimli is no longer the only Dwarf to hit the sea! Enjoy and treat your wife as a princess....but I get the idea that isn’t the problem |

Have a fun and safe journey, Dain! Hopefully better than the last.
And since I’m horribly late to your other thread, congrats again. |

Riddle 9
When I came to Abraham I let him live just a moment longer. When I came to Moses I saved his life more than once. But the salmon... I regret to say I had a hand in its death.

Have fun! Cruises are awesome...
At least, they are if the boat doesn’t nearly tip over.... |

In the early 4th Age, he and Legolas sailed to the Undying Lands together. Gimli was the only Dwarf to ever go there.
