Actually, I was thinking something more like $0.10/1 coin. I was suggesting GP for real money, but at a reasonable level like this. I think the other way is more outrageous, since it rewards rich people, where the other way would be more reasonable, as it would reward people with high post counts. For example, I have racked up 22 coins in 1 week, that means I could get $2.20 store credit, which would be reasonable for Cobra to reward me this much for all I’ve contributed  . Not that I think that I deserve that much money, I’m just saying that it’s possible.
So it seems that the majority of people would like to see the 500 word count rewards come back, Cobra, do you have any problem with this? We’d like your input for this thread![/b] |

The system is set up so that you earn GP for making posts that other people actually find useful, and can then use those GP either as "prestige points" or to buy fun items for your forum account.
The system does NOT encourage long-windedness; it encourages posts that are useful as judged by actual people. It’s NOT another tie-in between the forums and the card shop, but exists purely within the forums for a bit of extra fun.
That’s it... it is what it is.
While I do appreciate your input everyone, the more I see people complaining that something is unfair or suggesting additions that I’ve already said will not happen, the more I am inclined just to set things back the way they were and get rid of this distraction.  |
