I’m not quite at hardcore yet, but I like the sound...just not too much. I still think there should be vocals other than screaming. But hardcore guitar rocks!!
And I think it’s cool that Underoath has a song named after an LOTR quote. ("It’s Dangerous Business...") |

Blind Guardian actually HAVE one called "The Lord of the Rings". It has a "Stairway-to-Heaven-ish" knack to it, although it’s darker and heavier. They also have a full CD on The Silmarillion, called Nightfall in Middle Earth. |

...until I turn my beat up nova’...
Ah, good times, good times.
I’m liking this new Pettidee CD I got. And I’m not liking any of tobyMac’s new cds except Renovating -> Diversecity is alright.
tOO’s [Christian] Rap Hierarchy of Goodness:
Corey Red & Precise > The Tonic > The Ambassador > Lecrae > Pettidee > Grits > John Reuben > KJ-52 > Tru-Life > Phanatik > da’TRUTH > Richie Righteous > Sharlok Poems > LA Symphony > tobyMac > Most Garbage |

Ah, yes...the Mac Attack...you gotta love "Extreme Days"!
I really didn’t like "Renovating" as well, because they took out the rock feel to everything! "Gone" was, well...weak. I liked the remix of "Diverse City"...but other than that, it wasn’t much better. Bring on the guitar, toby! |
