Yes, but have you ever read a translation of "The Republic"? Or "The Cave’s Myth"? (these are literal translations, I don’t know the names in English) They’re fairly amazing to discuss. Do you like Phylosophy?
Back to the subject, I’d have to disagree that that was the funiest thing ever said ’round here. First, ’cause it was written, not said. Second, because I don’t think we can RATE funny. It was, indeed, pretty funny, but I’ve seen some nice posts, like:

And well, tOO CAN be pretty funny, ahm, well, "too". The way I see it, you burst too easily, then you stop being funny and start being rude, and that just sucks up all the fun (well, ok, sometimes it doesn’t  ).
But it’s been a while now that tOO hasn’t been THAT active, so he may lose his post soon, unless he does something about it.

Well I’m always funny when I’m being rude on here
and when I’m posting in the lounge I’m usually portraying a rude tone 
I do like Philosophy, but I only take classes and I don’t actually read direct books from philosophers... however, I might have read the republic last semester... I just don’t remember anything from it, lol. |
