AC...
There are two ways:
1. Instead of selecting the hero from the map, you can select the unit type from a list on the Objects tab. This way, all units of that type will have the new name.
2. You can block off an area of the map and place "frozen" objects in it for special triggers. This idea was first put into the EE scenario called "Bridge Crossing". You can place an object in the blocked area and rename that specific unit. Now when you want to create that unit on the map, you will have to make a seperate effect for each named unit. Select the unit from the map on the Objects tab for your effect "Unit-Attribute" "Create Unit".
To freeze objects, just create an always true trigger with an effect with the "unit-attribute" saying "freeze object". Frozen units will not be able to move or be attacked.
If neither of these works, tell me.

My Gladiator scen is for Empire Earth AoC direct connect 4 player only.
There is a way to name each of your triggers. There should be a menu box with a place to rename your individual triggers for easier reference. |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

I will look up the AoE trigger settings. It sounds like they don’t have the options you would see on EE. I remember when I switched to EE there was no bringing me back to AoE ever again. I believe (and many ppl would back me up in a heartbeat) that EE1 is better than AoE3 and especially EE2. Not to mention the scenario builder is easier to navigate yet has infinite more options.
I suggest saving for Empire Earth Gold Edition (Primary disk and Expansion AoC disk pack) |

Oh, I just thought of an easier way now.
In the object tab there should be a list of selections from previous objects.
This way, anytime that object is triggered, this object will be affected too. |
