At one point in time Humans thought nearly 180 organs and parts were vestigial. now its down to 1(the tailbone where did you get that) I think the appendix has a use we just haven’t discovered yet. Oh and LSG the top scientists in the world are biased as our all Christian scientists. In fact every scientists is biased. Thats why I don’t exactly care what scientists say. |

what i find is ironic is that the most "advanced" scientist today i don’t know that much, and it is the scientist who tried to prove God who’s laws we follow. i love it! |

Ingold, in the past most of the world’s top scientists were religious. Why? Because it was almost unheard of to be a non-believer (and sometimes deadly). I would rather pretend to believe that be executed for my beliefs.
Albert Einstein was in fact an atheist in the conventional sense. He was a Pantheist, one that believed that "god" was just nature. He did not believe in a personal god and surely wasn’t affiliated with any religion. It is unfortunate that many people use his quote "god doesn’t throw dice" to try and show how Eisntein was a firm believer.
The intellectual elite of today scoffs at religion. 96% of the world’s top scientists don’t believe in a god. You’ll find that an increase in technology leads to an increase in disbelief.
To respond to your statement that "science is faith." In order to accept the results as an experiment/observation as accurate descriptions of the universe one must assume one’s instruments are accurate. I wouldn’t call this faith, I would call this a valid human assumption. We have tangible observations dating back to the start of humanity focused into tangible equipment. I’m forced to belive through my own reason that we have to have at least something going for us with science. |

well, my last post on this topic got deleted, so I will summarize what it was.

Scientists cannot be anywhere close to be all knowing, so if they cannot see everyhing that is going on, they shoudn’t be making assumptions. And another point was "Proved" facts like Spontanious combustion were proven wrong and I think that some of the assumtion of today’s scientists will be proven wrong.
And the last point. The Bible is the most accurate document in the ancient world. But that is just a taste of the evidence for ID. I’ve got more. |

LOL! but then you would be living a lie, and thus would be feeling uncomfortable in it all, and most likely not making very many scientific descoveries. you know why it was unheard of? because almost everyone was a believer. .

(you name it) it is still faith, because we don’t know for a down in the dust fact. |

your logic is that we can’t know how old coal is based upon. "How do we know how old coal is?" (your words) then we can’t know based upon carbon dating, because certain things will have more carbon in them than others.
hmmm. lets say you have the alpha male, but the alpha male is annoyed with a mouse, because the mouse escapes his grip. (according to survival of the fittest) the wolf would have to die because he isn’t able to catch the mouse.
haven’t done annatimy yet, so i wouldn’t know that they are useless. but then i have to say they probably are useful at some time.
This will require you to take a class of more advanced science for more knowledge on this subject... all coal has the same chemical structure. The decay of carbon cannot be tricked into thinking something is older than it is, just younger if it was preserved better than previously thought. The rest of the error is just the percent error of extrapolation, which is not big enough to justify million year old fossils being 10k years old.
As for the wolf, I’m not saying the wolf that is alpha is perfect, just that he is BETTER than the other wolves in the pack. There’s a big difference- if none of the wolves can catch it, then it doesn’t matter if the alpha can. This is also not a one shot and you’re out thing, this is an in general, one wolf will hunt better than the rest or fight better or do something clearly superior to his cohorts.
Vestigial structures were useful at one time- when they were part of us before we evolved into people. The thing is, they were never bred out- they are remains of mostly ape/monkey etc. parts for which they had a use. People have no use for them.
Also... back in the day, people who didn’t believe in Christianity were basically executed. I would rather pretend like I was Christian to advance science and the good of humanity than be like "No way, I’m an athiest! Come draqw and quarter me!" Everybody was a believer on the surface, but it will never be known who really was religious.
I have a theory that many athiests (a higher pct. than non-athiests) become scientists because they are looking for a way to disprove god. See, the thing is, science continually unearths more knowledge- replacing the primary function of religion- to explain the unexplainable. Therefore, being a scientist and a religious person is almost hypocritical.
We don’t know the big bang happened, true, and that’s why I’ve said I think it happened, not I know it did.
The bible is not the most accurate document... they’ve found boring stuff- trade records etc. which I’m sure are more accurate. If you want to say philosophical ancient document, I’d agree, but let’s not get too general. I’m unable to think of any other ancient philosophical documents though |

The bible had the most copies of the gospels for instance printed the sooner after they were originally written. hundreds more then any other book of its time period, Ie th Iiliad, the Odyssey Plato’s writings(or maybe homers )
Thus each book we have in the Bible today is the real thing. Very minor errors may crop up... but overall its copies were the most accurate. And PSS why would the original Christians have held onto a lie if it meant them going to their deaths? Being a Christian in early AD meant you got persecuted and killed. They didn’t "pretend" to be Jews or something else, they boldly proclaimed the word of Christ. And the disciples, considering they witnessed almost everything they would have known if there religion was a gigantic hoax. And most of them died horrible deaths. Do you think they would have held onto that lie? Would you? |

ok, where is the proof that we have evolved? the only "proof" i see is a whole bunch of athiest lying about finds. (they really gain my respect and trust that way!)
the tail bone: try and go without it. it only helps support your body.
they have found biblical scrolls, and the writings in the bible today, haven’t changed from the ones in the past.
as far as the lying about your beliefs, you will eventually be found out, and people will wander if you lied about your finds too.
yes, did you know that man kind came farthest under the Christian scientist than the athiest ones.
ok, here is another area in natural selection:
ok four wolves. 1 alpha, 2 next strongest, 3 third strongest, 4 weakest.
lets say all wolves want number one spot, but 1 is in it. so 2 chalanges 1, and looses, then 3 chalanges 1 and looses, then 4 chalanges 1, and wins because wolf 1 was to tired to fight weakest wolf off.
Do you understand?
it isn’t always natural selection, but how things fall.

I can’t wait to get to a book i will be reading for school! i believe it will be talking over this type of stuff.
it is still highly inaccurate. |

But would not the decay of carbon be increased by the amount of greenhouse gas in the atmosphere that blocked out UV and other solar rays therefor reducing the decay and prolonging life?
In the late 19th century many evolutionists believed that these organ were part of the "out-sourced organs" Pancreas, gall bladder, spleen, appendix ect. and actually all of those serve a good and difined purpose, not quite as vital as the major organs but still important to the health of humans.
So what you are saying is Religious Scientists are just old fashioned fanatics?
