Yes, I’ve seen a couple actually, when I was in the Air Force. The first was in Texas, when I was going through basic training. The sky turned green, GREEN! The tornado warning sirens went off throughout the base, and everyone ran for cover. I saw it in the distance before we went in, but luckily it turned before hitting the base.
The other was in North Dakota (Grand Forks AFB), and the sirens never went off, but we ended up spending the night in our basements for that one!

Yeah, that’s weird, isn’t it? That happened with both of the storms I mentioned, though the one on the bay I don’t think was actually a twister. Apparently, lots of storms at sea turn the air green, as do severe land-based storms. Something doing with the way light reflects during the storm...I’d have to look it up again to refresh my memory on the details.
Anyway....

Kinda. My wife and her siblings have played the NFL.com Home Team Challenge the last two years, and are doing so again this year with a steadily-expanding group. There’s no draft or anything...you just pick your team week-to-week. It’s kind of like fantasy football lite.

umm, i only played once and that was in 3rd grade...
we were at a soccer end-of-the-season thing, and we felt like playing football instead...
im not really a football fan though...
