Yeah, he’s got some really good songs, both old and new. I have several of his CDs.
Also:
Smash Mouth
The Wallflowers
Wet Wet Wet
Hootie & the Blowfish (mostly their older stuff)
Wes King (his song Simplify is about The Hobbit!)
Sometime After Seven (local band, now all but defunct, with a friend of mine in it)
John Williams
As you can tell by that last one, I have a lot of soundtracks. I love anything Star Wars, Indiana Jones, Lord of the Rings, and most anything Star Trek. Good music, especially for driving my hour (or more) commute. I have several other soundtracks, mostly by Williams. He’s a freakin’ genius. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

funny that you should ask, but I am listening to organ music right now, but my favorite composer is Vivaldi.
Recent music favorites. I don’t really listen to that much. But the only concert I’ve been to is Flatfoot 56. |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

Never heard of them.
I completely forgot one of my favorites....Johnny Cash!
Walk the Line, Jackson, Get Rhythm, Fulsom Prison Blues, Ring of Fire, and one of the best songs written about the South.....Hey, Porter!
Hey, porter, hey porter! What time did you say?
How much longer will it be till I can see the light of day?
When we hit Dixie will you tell that engineer to ring his bell,
And ask everybody that ain’t asleep to stand right up and yell.
Hey, porter! Hey, porter! It’s getting light outside!
This old train is puffin’ smoke, and I have to strain my eyes.
But ask that engineer if he will blow his whistle please,
’Cause I smell frost on cotton leaves, and I feel that Southern breeze. |
| I had to put something here. |

Flatfoot 56 pretty much rocks. I love the whole concept of celtic punk. |

| I love CPM22, Paralamas do Sucesso, Cidade Negra and Skank (all brazillian bands, talk to me on AIM or MSN if you want to get a hold of a song or two... WKBC knows one from CPM, if I remember correctly) |
