i think i’m confused about this, the second amendment says:
Amendment 2
No member may attempt to usurp the current Aftokrator until he has reached the rank of Aftokrator.
does this mean we can never appoint a new Aftokrator? how can two people be an Aftokrator at the same time?
i think that the second amendment should be nullefied, and replaced with something like this.
Amendment 2
The Aftokrator may only be removed from office with the unanimous vote of every member (excluding the Aftokrator in question) upon a motion to remove the existing Aftokrator and appoint a new Aftokrator who must be nominated prior to the vote.
this would force the members to a complete agreement not only of removing the Aftokrator but also on who will replace him. that means that if one member doesn’t agree on removing the Aftokrator, OR doesn’t want the new Aftokrator to be the one who is nominated then the Aftokrator can’t be removed.
however, there must be some way for the commoners to remove the Aftokrator, lest he become a cruel tyrant. not that i want to remove AP, i think he is a great Aftokrator, but the chosen ones must have a good government or else the chosen ones won’t last after we are gone. we must put good laws into place so that the chosen ones will continue for generations to come.
we also need some amendment about how the next Aftokrator will be chosen after an existing one resigns. will the Aftokrator appoint someone in his place? will the members vote? will the members vote on someone nominated by the resigning aftokrator?

So, Chosen Ones, what shall we say that one must do to usurp me?
Shall a unanimous vote take place by all members to usurp me?
Or shall a member need to receive a promotion to the rank of Aftokrator, upon which voting shall be decided on who the Aftokrator is?
Or, shall we say that I am permanently the Aftokrator until I resign?
An election could also be held, say every 6 months.
But, I am the founder of the Chosen Ones; at the moment, I am a tyrant; yet, I do not exercise this power. I say this: I should never be removed from office unless someone sees fit for a new Aftokrator and a unanimous vote to remove me from office is decided.

you are a good tyrant, but if a member must be an Aftokrator to usurp the Aftokrator, once you are gone, the next aftokrator may not promote anyone to Aftokrator just so that they can stay in power.
if an aftokrator gets to stay until they resign, a bad aftokrator could become a tyrant, and the commoners will have no way to defend themselves, except by leaving the chosen ones, and that could destroy the group.
having an election every six months isn’t a bad idea, but i’m not sure.
but i think the best way is to have a unanimous vote.

So, can it be agreed that the only way that I can be removed from Aftokrator is 1. my resignation, or 2. a unanimous vote against me to dethrone me and appoint a new Aftokrator. Can this be agreed upon by all members and added as Amendment 2 to the Constitution of the Chosen Ones? What say ye?
