I am not a chosen one but WTF?
Have you ever heard of something called negative connotations?
You want your official symbol to be the flag of a group that was soundly defeated and much more importantly supported slavery which can be considered one of the worst evils to ever afflict our planet?
That flag has been used repeatedly by racist and ugly groups that support backward and racist ideas.
This is a terrible idea if I may be so blunt.
Why not come up with something original?
Here is an example that I just put together.

Oh, yes, a question for the Chosen Ones.
