Good to know.
Chosen Ones, thou needst to voice an opinion on the Confederate flag insignia and on BtO’s being a sort of overseer. |

I do so solemnly swear, that if that insignia becomes our official emblem, I will quit the chosen ones, and do my best to sever all ties with this group.
So help me God. (I am not being sarcastic) |

is that an insult? I can’t quite tell.

mm and SoP are against the Confederate flag; NB is for it. Dain, PW, and EL have yet to vote. |

then why do you support such a flag? |

Because it represents state freedoms and the sovereignty of the state. Racism and slavery is not an issue, nor was it an issue in the civil war. Matter of fact, the North had racism just as bad. And they had a legal form of slavery that was called "indentured servitude," which was the same as southern slavery with one exception, anyone could be and "indentured servant."
With slavery, racism, and all that out of the way, unquestionably the south was right. The freedom of the state was prized by the founding fathers. The national government was intended to solve interstate differences and bring the nation together in a time of war. That’s it. No more power. Everything else was left to the state (see Amendment X).
When the North overstepped their bounds, the South had a right and duty to secede under the Declaration of Independence. The South was completely right, slavery aside (which was a moot point since the north had the exact same thing). That’s why I support the confederate flag. As much as the Flag is propagated by racist groups as an emblem of hate, in its original form it was a symbol of freedom. |

Ah, a schism. I guess just about every group has one of these every once in a while, though.
SoP, the Confederate flag does not represent racism, fascism, or the KKK. Feel free to voice your opinions, but I will not hesitate to exile anyone who needlessly slanders other members or other members’ opinions without having proof.
