Yes, I think we should revamp the RP forum, however I don’t want a
strict code of laws; just some good basic rules. |

| Well...rules like the ones Felipe is proposing would lend quite a bit of structure to the RP environment. They’d help to define RP a lot better, and make everything more within the realms of possibility. This might sound crazy, but what if we had two RP forums? One for "blue sky" RP and the other for "structured" RP? |

i think we would have to, I like Tuilin and would like a board where he can be as he is now. + FM’s idea would require an INCREDIBLY large amount of mod work, which I personally don’t think are mods are up to at the moment, during the summer of last year the RPG’s were great, I just think with school people are busier. Also I think the newer system would only have the most dedicated people and if it is anything like the freeforms are right now, they would probably only get a handful of people willing to spend the time to"grind"( to use the MMORPG term, their character to a level where it would be worth your time, + it took FM a huge post to lay down the most basic of rules, but there are still questions and concerns
wouldn’t it take forever to complete and RPG if you could only kill 1 orc at a time? and you couldn’t even fight leaders. I think we should just wait till summer to implement anything, especially something as time consuming as FM’s idea. |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

Except...it doesn’t really involve what we’d call "grinding". You’d gain "experience" by writing quality RP posts. Your "level" would be determined by your RPing, not your killing of foes. |

Well noticed, CG! This is the REAL catch! This way, constant RP’ers would get the sweetest characters, which I think is only fair, as they keep the RP Forums alive. |

yes, but as I said I think right now is not the time to implement something new.
and what i mean is by spending a lot of time on good posts you get sweet characters. (by chance if we do implement this, could people who have posted more in freeform get several more points?) |
