I using my totally sweet telekinesis powers  take just the treasure but not the case, and move it right in front of my face. then I take the treasure and give it to a member of the US congress, a month later no one knows where it is. |

Telekinesis, yes, but how does it get outside the safe? Teleportation, you mean?
Oh well. Tracking voting records, we find a major swing on a candidate’s record leading us to suspect bribery. Finding he was given the treasure, a group of illegal...um...operatives storm his house and kidnap him. He is tortured until he reveals where the treasure is. We storm the bank where it is kept in a vault and hold it up with a small army. The U.S. Army gets involved and in the ensuing chaos I escape in a helicopter with the treasure.
I bury the treasure in the Mauna Loa volcano in Hawaii behind the lava flow. It is in an explosive resistant, teleportation resistant safe bolted with 6 foot titatnium steel bolts. I equip the hidden room with motion detectors that trigger a nuclear warhead when set off. I leave the volcano, remotely activate the sensors, and destroy the remote.

I dig up from beneath in a magma-proof suit. Hidden from the motion detectors by the lava flow, I take the treasure and leave thorugh my tunnel. Safely away from the nukes, I then divert a magma stream over the chest, melting away the puny titanium steel bolts. Opening the chest, I take the treasure and leave.
I take a space shuttle out to a black hole, throw the treasure in, compressing it to the sizeof a pinpoint, with the wieght of ~5,000 lbs. in Earth gravity. I then dissipate the Black hole via Quantum Singularity and take the treasure (its weightless in space,) and send it on a collision course with Earth. If it hits, the impact will drill a hole through the core of the earth, and out the other side, extinguishing all life on the planet.
Meanwhile, I head for the Gamma Quadrant. |

THAT is what I’m talking about.
Anyway, I have to think about this for a second...you make things tough. the treasure is compressed to the size of a pinpoint....on a collision course with the earth. Well...remember that though the treasure is microscopic, it is also extremely reactive to magnetism.
So, I take a high powered of electromagnet to deflect the course of the treasure away from earth and into an orbit around the sun. Retrieving the treasure easily, I decompress it.
I implant the treasure in a nuclear warhead programmed to self-destruct if touched. |

EDIT: NBarden beat me to it. Give me a minute to think.
I transport myself years into the future and steal their knowledge of alchemy. I return to the present time, and transform the radioactive element of the nuclear warhead into perfectly harmless table salt. Then, I remove the trasure.
I take the trasure and place it in a lead safe, resistant to telepathy, bombs, heat, cold, and anti-matter. With my knowledge stolen from the future, I set the combonation to the exact decimal value of pi.
Next, I use a shrink-ray (how helpful can those future people be?) and travel back through time. I implant the treasure in Abraham Lincoln’s brain.
P.S. NBarden, you do have a fixation on nuclear warheads, don’t you? |

| Also traveling back through time, and knowing what will happen I make sure to be present when he is assassinated. Then I quickly cut out the treasure and transplant myself into the present, then I travel back in time again, and implant it in a fish. then I return to the present, thus the fish is long dead, and the treasure could be anywhere. |

I think you are mistaken. You can use technologies like teleportation and antimatter, because they’ve been discovered and have been proven possible. Alchemy hasn’t. But, I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt. I don’t wanna steal the treasure from Abraham Lincoln’s brain, so I’ll let someone else.

| I pay off a paleontologist, who discoveres the fossilized remains of the treasure. Acquireing it, I send it to a blacksmith to be compressed into a fine metal sheet, about .0001 mm thick. I then wrap around the World Cup championship soccer ball during halftime. Now it is being batted around the field by several athletes, surrounded by bloodthirst fanatical fans, who are willing to kill anyone and anything that approaches the ball, (often even including the players on one side or the other...) |
