lol, I actually just knew that style of riddle pretty well.
Okay, so here’s the next one, and I hope it’s hard enough to tie y’all over until Wednesday (I’m going out of town!)
See ya then! Don’t get a headache. |
Riddle 9
When I came to Abraham I let him live just a moment longer. When I came to Moses I saved his life more than once. But the salmon... I regret to say I had a hand in its death.

The only hint-hint I’m going to give is this: Break it down. Yes, the riddle is *about* something, but trying to get it all in at once is impossible.
So. Go over this in these sections:
• In just shy of 10 by 1 and 2,
• we’re told we’re false by the beaker crew.
• But like our youngest, we’ll rest content
• knowing that for the faithful we were spent. What are we?
The first one is, well, mathy in nature (and is the easiest part to get, if you really think about it). The second one requires a bit of linguistic sense ("What’s a beaker?"). I think if you figure out those two parts, the rest should fall into place without much hubbub.
Now, for a real hint: It’s nothing you can directly touch. |

| Hmm...I think what’s throwing me is the use of "In" to start off the riddle. Because I keep wanting to say "I’m", instead, which throws off the riddle. |
