A bit closer (but not in the sense you might think), but... clouds can be crowned, you know. Pay less attention to my hint than to the riddle itself. |
Riddle 9
When I came to Abraham I let him live just a moment longer. When I came to Moses I saved his life more than once. But the salmon... I regret to say I had a hand in its death.

I can’t say anything else without giving it away. I think you’ll kick yourself once you get it (and after I decrypt the riddle itself... hehe).
But for the record, you’re pretty darn close (and I’m sure saying that much just gave it away). |

I know a lot of you guys got realllly close (someone may have got it, I honestly don’t remember), but...
All around and beyond the sound.
Below the ground, above the mound.
Never crowned.
The answer was: Outer Space. Space is all around us, and in space there is no sound. It’s below the ground (because if you travel through the earth far enough, eventually you will leave it), and of course it’s above us. And we can never go further "up" than space.
And the new riddle, Riddle #6:
Somethings may and somethings not
Living eternal and blindness we’ve got
We assume so much but can never guess
No matter what, it’s rushing towards us.
Happy thinking! I’ll try and give enough hints to get this tackled fairly quickly. |
