Jeez, is everybody on this site homeschooled? I don’t think I could ever do that, I mean, how could you have a social life if you don’t have school friends?
Edit: Whoah! AC is homeschooled? I always figured he was older than high school age. |

Friday, not Firday.
Anyways, the test is going to be easy, but... the subject is just so boring! I like algebra much better. |

Wow, you’re my age? That’s crazy, I always pictured you as maybe 19 or 20 years old. |

That is what Church and social clubs are for. I was personally involved in a number of things through church as well as a square dance club and a number of other things. That is the most common misconception about home schooled people: they have no social life, whereas I have found that home schooled people (in the circles I ran in anyway) had some of the better social schedules because they could get their work done for the day and then go and do things as opposed to wasting 6 to 8 hours in a classroom and going home to do homework for another 2 to 4. |

Yes, I suppose that is true in part, but what I’ve seen with homeschool kids is that they tend to be less socially adept when thrown into the maelstrom that is real high school life (I’m not saying homeschooling isn’t real life, I’m just talking about a real, public highschool). I may be way off base here and I’m sure none of you are like this, but from the what I’ve seen with the few homeschool kids I personally know, they are very socially inadequate. If I offended anyone by saying this I am sorry and I am not trying to be a douche, I’m just stating what I’ve seen in the homeschoolers I know. I just can’t wrap my mind around what it would be like to just go to school with maybe a sibling. Then again, I have been going to schools with hundreds or thousands of kids since I was in kindergarten.
Edit: Are there get togethers where homeschoolers meet and hang out with other homeschoolers? |

Yep. My fam is part of a Catholic homeschooling group, and the group has a lot of families that are in it. So we get together like every week.
