| Yeah and he is some of the best bad guys ever. Thrawn and Palleon. You know they are bad, but you sympathize with him, and at points want them to win. + when luke gets in to problems he doesn’t just use the force he finds other ways to get around it. And Mara Jade is awesome too. Have you read all 7 |

Mmm...I need to read some Dekker/Peretti. I’ve heard Thr3e is awesome. I mean, they made it into a movie, so it should be, right? (and I need to see the movie, too)
i’ve read a little of that Christian-Thriller stuff, and my overall take on it is they are trying to sell thrillers to a christian audiance by slapping some shallow christian truth into it, or having some christian main characters. and those christian truths can get skewed by the story. if you want christian, read C. S. Lewis or something. i wish these christian thriller writers would either put deep christian stuff in their books, stuff that works your mind and makes you think, or leave out the christian undertones, (which can come off as dumb) and just write clean adrenaline laced thrillers.
i read thr3e, and liked it. i loved the adrenaline it gave me. but the main point was that good and evil are in us all, and we all have to fight the evil that’s in us. sounds good, but really, the only good that can be in us is Jesus Christ.
i also read the circle trilogy wich gave no adrenaline at all, and was messed up with overdone allagory, and some pathetic writing in spots.
other than that i haven’t read much christian thriller stuff, so there may very well be some good books out there.
when i publish my thriller, i’ll let ya’ll read it. |

| ok, i will. right now it’s in the rough draft/notebook stage. after that i’ll type it out on the computer while making changes, and then i’ll try to get the darn thing published. if i can’t, then i’ll have to pull a Christopher Paolini and publish it myself. then i’ll mail out signed copies to all my CC friends. |
