He sent me pictures, great stuff! Now I wish I could buy a house of my own and fix it up. It would be nice to live out in the country. Yes, I admit it, I’m envious!
Lovely house, gil-estel! |

you could try to book a room...maybe like this: you book a room, rebuilt it yourself..in a way we like it. In exchange you could enjoy the countryside (shire is nothing compared to it). play some LotR, get some food... |

LOL, it sounds good to me, but I don’t think you would like the room when I was finished with it. Besides painting and helping my husband do some tilework, I have no DIY skills whatsoever! You would kick me out within a day! |

| So true, so true. How many bedrooms and bathrooms does your new house have? |

Wow, 2 living rooms! You could turn 1 into a diningroom, maybe. That loft sounds like it’s got plenty of potential. My brother-in-law turned his loft into a massive (and lovely) bedroom, complete with skylights, very impressive.
But I know that you already have much to do, as it is. |

| we’re going to do it in phases...1 livingroom is going to be a diningroom, with heigh ceilings, beautiful windows and a view...drop dead gorgeous! It will have an open connection to the kitchen, that if I’m making dinner -yes I’m the cook at home- I will stay in though with the people in the living room. The other living room will be the library...I want some Winchester chairs (do you know them? with all the buttons?) and a fireplace and shelves up to the ceiling -3,5 metres- filled with all my books......my my, it’s going to be awesome! |

That’s great, you’ll have a stately manor by the time you’re finished.
I know what you mean about being the cook. My husband is a much better cook than me. Just ask the kids, they will be happy to tell you! |
