That is the price cops pay for guessing. First of all SOP voted for GT, when he was still a cop. After getting that vote Gate Troll decided to arrest his second person and was wrong. After that happened the rest of the cops couldn’t figure out how to prevent a tie so I got to choose my victim . If I wanted to be really cruel I could have elected AgentDrake. He would have certainly died since he stated he wouldn’t be on until Saturday sometime. You should feel fortunate that I left your best cop alive. The game is simple and if you make it difficult by guessing things like this can happen all the time. STOP GUESSING, and start working as a team. You have 4 cops left and two have black marks. You better be careful or we could have another successful Incognito |

Not while I’m around to say something about it, bucko. I DID have your clue right, so don’t get too cocky.
You’ve still got a capable police force to deal with. You wanna dance? Let’s dance. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Seeing as Officer DainIronfoot wants to dance we shall dance. I have put my little vacation off .
My next victim is caught and their life depends on you, the cops. They will have a time with their clue. Seeing as it is the anniversary of my dearly departed Anna I have decided to pay her my respects in my riddle to the cops.
eh’ darkness is like a forte

Yea, but you picked a guy who isn’t on very much so it doesn’t really matter. I’m out of this bickering. I have a feeling that the incognito may be NBarden because of his outrageousness. |

Oh my lordy lord! Why are people complaining? Gate Troll was already out of the game with 2 black marks against him, so what is your loss by seeing him die? Like Incognito said, you’re lucky that he didn’t choose Agent Drake! You got an easy clue, and you only lost a cop who was already out of the force, so stop whinging!
I like Dain’s attitude, buck up and catch Incognito! |
Trade With Me, I went to Middle Earth, and all I got was this stupid ring!

Your next clue will be delivered Monday as even stone cold killers need some time off. That will also give AgentDrake time to get back to work.
The answer to the riddle was darkness but seeing as Gate Troll decided to not input the code he is no longer with us Two cops down and three to go.
uh? math? I only count one...

The cops tend to make things to complicated you had the answer the whole time and just decided it was too easy, then when my riddles are a challenge you complain. It seems that no matter the riddle difficulty you rather complain than solve. We both know that leads to death now so try and solve them instead.
ok no offense to NB but this has to be him...rationalizing his actions by saying we were bad...dude we had 24 hours to input the password once we figured out who inputted it...GT is almost never on consecutive days but he wasn’t a cop anyway so as dain said back to work.
I am tempted to arrest NB, but this game is just getting fun, and I wouldn’t want it to end without me .
lets go cops |

You just had to go and stick your foot in it, Dain...
Personally, I think blowing GT to bits is actually sorta funny -- no offense, GT; purely due to circumstance.
Okay, to the clue:
Google claims that Anna Nicole Smith died April 4th, the day that Incog posted the clue. |

ok forte could mean:
Forte, an individual’s strongest talent or greatest strength ("Preparing gourmet cuisine is his forte")
Forte (music), a musical dynamic meaning "loudly" or "strong"
Forte (fencing), a fencing term for the "strong" part
I personaly think that it is either 1 or 2... and I’m leaning towards an individual’s talent. |

I don’t think it’s EL, as I think he’s truly just vanished for the time being. I’d lean towards NB too, based mostly on personality, but I ain’t willing to use an arrest on it yet.
Whoever Incog is...oh dear. It seems I have gotten under his skin. Poor fellow. Ruined vacation and all that.
But now, we shall dance. And yes...it will be a slow jam!
In every instance, "forte" refers to strength. So yes, it seems the clue is somehow saying darkness is Incog’s talent or strength. Or solace, perhaps, like a tower?
I think it’s much more than that, though. The "eh’" has got to be significant. My first thought, foolish American that I am, is Canada. (Eh? )
Remember also that it is paying respects to "Anna", who could, as Drake suggested, be Ms. Smith. Any obvious connection between her, Canada, and darkness?
Yeah, probably not, but there has to be some significance to the "eh’" (perhaps it’s short for something?) and "Anna". Hmmm....
If it IS Anna Nicole Smith, there MAY be some connection to Howard Stern. No, she wasn’t with THAT Howard Stern, but she was with a Howard Stern during the last few months of her life. Interesting, they lived in the Bahamas until her death...a possible connection to me thanks to my recent trip. There was a controversy with her and Bahamian Immigration Minister Shane Gibson around the time of her death. So it’s POSSIBLE that Stern or Gibson give some sort of clue to Incog’s identity....
Oy, my brain hurts. Just throwing ideas out there and seeing if anything sticks, but nothing seems to be to ME, at least. |
