Who was whining? Polamalu said, "It doesn’t matter to me if he tackles me by my hair or my ankles." The fans didn’t care at all that Johnson tackled him like that, after all Polamalu without his hair is like an egg without a yolk!
Polamalu is one of the only players that can consistently confuse the opposing offense. He makes a big impact, there is NO doubt about it. He is a playmaking safety.
Anonymous Prodigy wrote: Hines Ward is also overrated, due to his weird passing plays with Randle El in the Super Bowl a couple years ago.
He is not overrated. Look at his career stats in a run-oriented offense. And there really is not a better blocking wide receiver in the NFL.
Anonymous Prodigy wrote: Plus, Ben is looking sharp, but in the preseason. I’ve seen players play superb in the preseason, and then have terrible regular seasons.
Yep. But I’ve also seen people play great in the preseason and do the same in the regular season.
Anonymous Prodigy wrote: The Rams have Stephen Jackson, Torry Holt, and Marc Bulger, whom I would take over Parker, Ward, and Ben any day.
I wouldn’t... and it’s not like the Rams have any defense or special teams.
Anonymous Prodigy wrote: Steve Smith is phenomenal.
1 star doesn’t make a team. Look at how the Steelers demolished them last year! 37-3! They dominated them in every area; offense, defense, and special teams.
Anonymous Prodigy wrote: The Broncos have a terrific defense and a developing offense.
Key word: developing.
Anonymous Prodigy wrote: Carson Palmer + Chad Johnson = 2nd Best QB + WR Combo in the NFL.
The Steelers shut down that duo consistantly. And they stomp on the Bengals defense.
Anonymous Prodigy wrote: And the Seahawks have a now-healthy Shaun Alexander and Hasselbeck.
For the moment. But it’s not like Hasselbeck is exactly an amazing QB, and Alexander alone can’t win the Super Bowl.
Anonymous Prodigy wrote: The Ravens don’t have the offense to get things done, and Grossman + a passing play = disaster.
The Ravens had a stellar record, winning a lot of games, and the Bears made it to the Super Bowl!!!
Anonymous Prodigy wrote: I rest my case.
lol. The Steelers are one of the best teams in regards to the playoffs, but you treat them like dirt.

P.S. The Steelers went 6-2 in the last half of their season. I expect them to carry this success with them into this season. |

Ahh another AC vs. someone else debate. Don’t try it AP he never listens to anyone else if he has anything to say against it.
I still think the colts/ patriots could beat the steelers any day of the week (except if peyton/brady get hurt). |

Everyone thought so 2 years ago, but the Steelers proved them wrong.

Thanks to their defense and their running game, not Rex.
But, hey; everything is purely hypothetical until the season starts. Once the playoffs roll around, let’s see how the Steelers are doing compared to the other teams that I listed. |

Well, I figured that was what *you* meant, seeing as you were the one that mentioned debates. If that’s not what you are referring, which "debates" do you mean?

I agree. Rex is crap. However, seeing as their defense and running game got them that far, it definitely could have won them the big game. After all, the game was pretty close.

Sounds like a plan to me.

What did I tell ya... Steelers are going to rock this year! 2-0, w00t! Out of the teams listed in the poll, the Eagles, Rams, and Saints are all 0-2, while the Chargers, Seahawks, Panthers, and Bengals are only 1-1.
