| These sad stats are somewhat of a confirmation of the truth of chritianity. At least for me they are. Only in the light of Christ we will be capable of true love and true forgiveness. If we want to do it on our own strength we’ll fail. Luckily God is very patient with us! A great piece is Hebrew 12 the first few lines. Every time we stumble, we must not linger...but get up and continue! So try hard and only rely on Jesus! |

Maybe its just a problem I experience, but I find it VERY difficult to forgive a lot of times. I’m learning, though.

God does not hate. He is just and punishes and has "righteous indignation," but where does Scripture say he hates?
I agree. We must forgive individually as Christians. I don’t know anyone who was killed in a terrorist attack, but I know people who know people killed Sept. 11th and watched them pray for the salvation of bin Laden. That’s forgiveness.
But the problem is when people try to put forgiveness on a national level. A nation cannot be as forgiving, for its first and foremost SCRIPTURAL duty is to protect its citizens.
So, while forgiving, we must take steps for our security. |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

| as in hate of evil. Meaning he cannot allow it into heaven. IDK really how to describe it, righteous anger against evil. |

Stumbled on it today. HAD to post it, since we’re in an era of controversial debates again...
