Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

Where’d the hidden=incognito thing come from? Well, it does kind of go with the "shadowy assassin" persona I’m trying to create doesn’t it?
Oh and by the way... Strike one SoP. I am not Thranduil.
I will be posting another update sometime this evening taking into account this afternoon’s events. |

Well, this gig as an assassin just doesn’t seem to be working out for me. When I arrived in this small town in Pennsylvania to take out my next target, I found him pretty well protected, if you can call an unruly mob wielding a plastic sword, a wooden sword, a machete, a shotgun filled with birdshot, a paintball gun and an Airsoft rifle as good protection. Perhaps I’m underestimating the cops just a little too much as they seemed to have figured out my last clue pretty quickly and rallied to protect their precious Gate Troll. Oh well, I was bound to slip up and get a little too arrogant for my own good and mistakes like that will eventually lead to my demise.
Looking back on the evening though, I probably should have seen the job through. My trusty Colt M1911 loaded with its hollow point rounds when aimed properly has a pretty decent stopping power on its own and probably could have taken out a good number of the mob that met me, especially since they forgot to pack their body armor. None of the weapons that the mob used were even remotely dangerous unless met at melee range and with my deadly accuracy, I know I should never have been anywhere near harm’s way. The worst part of the evening was the frozen paint balls as they didn’t break so much as just leave nice golf ball sized bruises underneath huge welts and sting like crazy. The method of their defense caught me so completely off guard that I didn’t have time to reach into my pocket to drop a clue to my next victim. I guess that is a good thing since they had already started to crack my codes. I just guess I’ll have to come up with a different code.
After spending much of the night congratulating each other for driving off Incognito’s attack, the police got a short night’s sleep knowing they had protected one of their own. The next morning an envelope arrived at headquarters with a barely legible note that looked like it had been written by the author’s off hand. The envelope had a post mark from Harrisburg, PA about 90 miles from where the officers had been partying the night before The note, as best they could determine stated:
You have inflamed my anger and hatred as well as my hand. One or both of badge numbers 11221 and 11226 will die. You can only save one. Choose well. |

I arrest Felipe Musco and charge him with the same aforementioned crimes that lem0n was accused of. Being an officer of the law and a hangman has its bonuses. |
