Lots and lots and lots of raiding and rapid expansion 
Seriously though, I just sent out my 8th colony ship to my galaxy 3 system.
We’ll see how good the planet is. I only have two to three colonies that I expect to keep for the long term... the rest are just too small. I don’t intend to abandon them until I can’t really do much more expansion at them. I’ll use them for resource generation until I decide I can find something better. |

I have given M_H a "special" rank.
M_H, you can now manage the alliance page, and do lots of fun stuff like send circular messages.
I suggest that you check out the alliance tab to see what you can do.
i did this because M_H obviously has more time for this then me. |

I haven’t been on for like...4 days, and my metal was so high it needed a storage facility. 
So I spent it instead. Heavy Lasers, a colony ship, and I plan to send some to some friends I’m trying to get to start playing.
Speaking of which, I’m trying to get some people to form an alliance from another forum I’m on. Could we ally with them?
It’d be pretty funny if someone attacked one of us and 3 alliances (if AC’s cooperates) declare war.  |

Could someone send me resorces? I’m trying to get up to lvl 4 missle silo so I can start nuking ppl. Or I could just get my mines up, whichever is more convenient.
Was anyone besides AC on before I told bto about this? |

Sure sounds fine to me.
I don’t think the game would allow you to be in two alliances, but you could serve as a diplomatic liaison between this new group and us.
In other news, be sure and watch your point total.
Once you get past 5,000 points ANYBODY can attack you.
That means you will not want your resources just piling up or you will get raided.
On my universe 3 account, I had 200+ Rocket Launchers, 50 LLs, 15 Heavy Lasers, 25 Ion cannons, 12 Gauss Cannons, and both shield domes.
I also had about 1 million Crystal, and 500 thousand metal.
In the past two days i got hit twice, once by a guy with more then a million points, and then a guy with 600,000+ points.
My defenses fell like paper...
Moral of story, have your resources tied up in research and buildings.
If you have tons of extra resources, put them on large cargo ships, send them on a long deployment mission to a distant colony, (IE fleetsave) them get on when they arrive and send it back to your home colony.
Defenses don’t work against 500+ cruisers, or 600 destroyers... |

Yeah tell me about it. I am currently getting picked on by a guy with 200K + points... Number 468 in our universe... belongs to a guild called the penguins.
He had a fleet consisting of 80 Cruisers, 15 bombers and 8 large cargo ships coming to me. Results were that he crushed my defenses, but I was able to save most of my materials. He wound up getting 21 metal, 5 crystal, and 130 deuterium for destroying 30% of my defenses...
I don’t think it was enough to fuel two of his ships. Cost me a lot, but I got great satisfaction in denying him just about everything that he came for. |

penguins are one of the top alliances I know...
so far neither of my accounts have been raided. of course, both are in n00b protection, and the ends doesn’t justify the means needed to take them out. once I am out.
oh cwap. my 26 is out of n00b protection...and I have been espionaged by lots of people...and my alliance is quite good enough to stave off threats...except from those that aren’t in an alliance. the #8 alliance has 2 guys espionaging me.. |

My 11 has 2700 points, so it’s not that far away from 5000. I’m farming alot of the noobs around me, but I’m putting most of my resources into colonies and mines. I have lvl 18 metal 16 crystal and 14 dueterium. And I’m going to try and get plasma turrets.
Can ppl see your defs with espionage, and someone told me that the higher espionage lvl you have, the more info you get, is that true?
Bto, why don’t you spend all your resources as fast as you can? Then ppl might stop attacking you. Nothing is more inviting than a noob with alot of resources. |
