She said she got it, she also found someone to attack, blind attacked him with 2 light fighters  got 33 metal crystal and deut. out of it. I gave her a build order to follow, and she already has 30 points I think. |

how many metal mine upgrades are required to build until I’m getting a fair amount of metal? I never seem to have enough, even at lvl 12!!
Anyway I just emerged from noob protection, nothing has happened yet. |

3,772 points and counting. Level 10 of Laser Technology is underway, as well as Level 7 of Fusion Reactor. My defenses on my home planet now look like this:
130 Rocket Launcher
75 Light Laser
40 Heavy Laser
4 Gauss Cannon
21 Ion Cannon
1 Small Shield Dome
1 Large Shield Dome
20 Anti-Ballistic Missiles |

That translates to approximately 1.07 Million metal per 24Hour period in addition to what I can raid and I continually seem to be running low on the stuff. |

Yeah you will soon realize that you are always low on everything.
My account now has 86,000 points.
For you guys that are about to exit n00b protection.
DEFENSE WON"T SAVE YOU!!!
Basically anyboday can hit you once you are past 5,000 points.
THe only way to avoid getting hit is to make sure you resource and fleetsave as much as possible....I got hit by some guy with 1,000 LIght Fighters, 30 Battle cruisers, 10 Destroyers, and 200 Cruisers the other day.
Most defenses would crumple before that..that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have defenses, just realize that they won’t do much. |

Yes, a defense won’t save you, but it will prevent stupid attacks of opportunity like being raided by cargo ships. |
