I say protect Gate troll. Hippo has been off for a while and hasn’t done much of anything.
of course if GT is wrong...then he is expelled and he might as well protect hippo, and if he is right we win. so yeah protect hippo/ |

It seemed the cops had a special light or some UV trickery i was unaware of as the clue on the letter was more obvious to them than when i had designed it. Ah well. that was only half the fun.
As i sat in my motel holding the fate of 2 officers of the law in my hand i reflected how fragile life was. Never mind. i pressed the 2nd button on the controller. Miles away, if i would have been near to hear, there would have been the sound of 5 kilos of c4 going off right under G. Troll’s house.
1 down.....
It also appeared shortly before his death, Troll had caused a publicity scandal by arresting an innocent civilian, a young girl no less, adding to the failure of the squad to find any suspects. With only 4 cops left, 1 non existant, 1 on final written warning it seemed that my chances were on the up.
i made a call.
In the silence of the precinct a phone rang out, scaring Barden awake. The voice on the phone is his worst nightmare.
"There is a barrel, weighing 20 pounds. I put something in the barrel, making the barrel lighter than 20 pounds. what did I put in the barrel?
The answer? IPMF
Confused? What a shame its really quite simple. Well my 1 minute is up and we dont want any tracers on the line now do we? ill leave you with this thought. Ijqqpjtofyu.

The line was dead. "Did we get it?" asked Barden as he turns to Palantirs Korn and Hippo. A shake of the head said it all. "What the hell did this guy mean by that?"
that should keep them going for a while. well at least til tomorrow. and if it doesnt. well that will be too bad. another persons blood will be on their hands. |

this was going better than i had planned. now the cops had resorted to making arrests out of sheer panic and desperation. with little or no evidence Officer Hippo had made a fool of the department by making a wild accusation of an innocent civilian. the force was on the brink. it couldnt take any more bad publicity. the chief called an emergency meeting and warned the team on the Assassin case to only act when 100% sure to avoid the ’final nail’ in the coffin. He needed proof before any one should make a move.
Proof? ha this bunch of incompetents couldnt piece together a puzzle if it smacked them in the face. i had been clumsy twice and they were still no nearer.
i laughed so hard. o an assassins life is the life for me.

I belive it reads hippoisnext
I place hippo under protection!
I just replace each letter with either the letter before it or after it in the alphabet and then tried to make some sense of it, with the help of SoP getting the first part being a hole that to replaced each letter with the letter that came before it or after it in the alphabet. Thanks SoP for the help  .

I do wonder how I’m supposed to believe that you could acquire that much high explosive but however you did it your aim was notoriously inaccurate. My poor, poor neighbor; rest his soul.
