I think you get the point.
That line probably refers to the Eragon movie somehow.
Deca twice... thats 20. Maybe... it could just mean 20th Century Fox. Did they have anything to do with producing Eragon? If so, well, that just proves it. If my initial suspicion was correct, however...
Then there’s the fact that I’m an eragon fan, had an eragon avatar (or two) and did an Eragon DC set. So this clue COULD point to me.
Who’s been around on the forum long enough to know that?

Elf Lvr’s house sat like a black silhouette in the early morning darkness. I approached the back door quietly, but a light inside was switched on. I ducked behind a bush as a black figure appeared at the window. After a moment, the figure moved.
This is not the time. Those fools managed to protect him. No matter, though. My next victim will soon die…
The cops found another letter left on Elf Lvr’s porch.
This time, you deciphered my clues.
The offspring of the dark,
How beautiful is their song!
Irons and Fangmeier:
Deca- no, twice- productions.
The first two lines are a rephrasing of Dracula’s famous quote: “The children of the night: what music they make!” The third line indicates Jeremy Irons, an actor in “Eragon,” and Stefen Hangmeier, the director of “Eragon.” The fourth line, as Elf Lvr surmised, indicates 20th Century Fox Productions, the company that made “Eragon.” You were correct in protecting Elf Lvr, but another will soon die…
My next victim will be dead by nightfall.
