hippo was right! OK so...no hidden things as usual...dawn? that gives us no time whatsoever. I can’t figure it out. HIppo found the last one EL or lem0n will have to get this one. |

Lem0nhead was nearly ready to go to work. He kissed his wife good-bye, then walked out the front door. A policeman was walking by. Lem0n gave the cop a friendly wave, but the officer dropped to one knee, pulled a gun, and shot Lem0nhead twice. The officer jumped into a black card that pulled up to the curb and sped away. Elf Lvr, Menace64, and Frank_the_Hippo soon arrived at the scene and discovered another letter left by Incognito.
I disguised my self as one of you. You killed him, not me. You failed to decipher my clues.

The first line indicated the Fords of Bruinen. Lem0nhead’s last name is Ford. The third line indicated Númenor, which is an island. The location in Lem0n’s profile is Blood Island.
My next victim will be dead by nightfall.

I am inclined to agree with hippo that was just CHEAP. they had 12 hours, during which time they needed to sleep, and then, to my knowledge, all the cops would go to church. + it is one of the days they probably get to sleep in, so factoring everything they had...2 hours MAX to figure out an obscures clue.
on the plus side that probably means Lem0n is correct in assuming it is AP, since we already arrested Nbarden, aside from Hobbit13 I can’t think of anyone else buttheaded enough to do this. 
This assassin is officially the worse in this civilians opinion.
and that clue took work too...very hard to reconcile it to lem0n. again I have to say, when you get stopped twice, you go dirty. thats 2 murders they had no chance of stopping now. |

I wonder if this clue refers to a retired D-Agent I know we have a few but not sure who the are. X-listed is something Decipher does (Officially anyway and the resigned part might lead to the fact the decipher person might have resigned hence retired). Who had or has this in their sig or under their Avvie. Bib or MH perhaps.
I know I’m just a simple civilian know but since Incognito wants to play dirty so can we civilians.  . |

For once, I thought the clue was actually obvious. I had it figured out yesterday.
Granted, maybe Incog should allow a little more time (maybe another 12 hours) just ’cause not everyone can be on here all the time, but....

you thought it was obvious? hippo certainly didn’t...but I agree with SoP 12 hours, starting at night, on saturady night nonetheless is cheap.
civilians give hints. this incog is obviously a cheater.

Obviously you are referring to the clue about Lem0nhead seeing how you said you figured it out yesterday, and the newest clue wasn’t posted until this morning. Maybe he isn’t trying to be as cheap as we all think, maybe he isn’t in the same timezone as the cops  . Maybe when he posted the clue it was early where incognito is and figured by that night (his time) he/he would kill the next victim. None the less 12 hours of day or night ime is kind of being cheap.
If I were a cop I would protect M_H. Now that I have been messing around with this round I would also suspect that I will be target soon .
Then again I could always be wrong. Just putting in my  |

I wouldn’t be much of an assassin if I wasn’t a cheater. I’m a murderer, for crying out loud. Things aren’t supposed to fair. If things were fair, there would be no cops because there would be no crime. Murderers are unfair.

But, in a tragic turn of events, Frank_the_Hippo had a massive heart attack and Elf Lvr ended up making the correct arrest of AP.
In my estimation, Elf Lvr was the cop who accomplished the most for the force and was the best crime stopper on the team. I tip my hat to you, Elf Lvr.
