Infighting? How amusing. A small defeat, and the band of brothers falls apart so quickly.
Shouldn’t you be trying to decipher my clue instead?
Time is ticking....

I protect Lem0nhead.
Ferrapan.com wrote: In 1919, Salvatore Ferrara, Salvatore Buffardi and Anello Pagano, brothers-in-law, formed a partnership to engage in the manufacturing of a wide variety of confections.
ferrapan.com wrote: Lemonheads were named and formulated by Ferrara Pan Candy Company. The formula was developed in 1962....
Edit... Great. So my entire suspects list has just been blown away, but I’m onto a new lead now, but the evidence is, if anything, even slimmer.
Edit again. Aw, heck. Checked a few posts, and that was apparently all off base, too. |

Yeah, I think it works. "Salvatore squared" refers to the two Salvatores that were in on it...and Anello...yeah, I think you’ve nailed it.
And on that note, I’ve been mulling this over, and I’ve got an arrest to make, on a half-hunch. If this is correct, it may well be one of the most bizarre Incognitos I’ve seen yet...
I arrest NBarden, who I believe faked his own death and tried to incite the arrests of fellow cops.
After he was killed, NBarden immediately started spouting off about how he knew exactly who the killer was. Shortly afterwards, he PM’d me, telling me to arrest AgentDrake. I considered that to be an unfair advantage, so I didn’t act on it, but rather planned to bide my time, and point out things here or there that could lead to an arrest.
But considering that Incog has said he is not a cop, that rules out AD. Which makes me wonder just how NBarden could’ve been that wrong, and convinced of it. The most logical solution I could come up with is this.
The only last sticking point is his statement, "I am not a police officer." However, what if Incognito is being very literal here? Since he’s technically dead, he can’t really be a police officer.
So there you have it. On a half-hunch, I arrest NBarden. Hopefully this goes somewhere. Either that, or it gives Incognito something to laugh about. |

Good news and bad news for you, my dear officers.
The good news is that my old nemesis has come through for you again. I hadn’t even had time to book my flight to Lem0nhead’s home before Mr. Drake deciphered my clue. Well done.
The bad news for you is that Mr. Guitarrem’s half-hunch is...well, let’s just say that it HAS left me chuckling a bit. The logic isn’t actually that bad, but is very, very wrong. Strike one, Carpe, and now your force is down to eight total warrants...and only one each for their best officers thus far. Use them wisely in the future. I HAVE left some rather glaring clues.
I really wasn’t expecting such a quick defense of Lem0nhead, so I must throw what should be an easy clue at you to buy me a little time. The timetable remains the same, since this shouldn’t be too difficult for you: my victim will still be dead by tomorrow evening.
What do Dior and Eldarion’s fathers have in common? Discover that, and the name of my next victim should become obvious.

Excellent!

So that explains the "AD seems to know exactly what Incog’s thinking" comment... Flattered, but why would I try to protect so many of my victims? Unless we had another schizophrenic Incognito....
Edit: I am now ~75% certain I have figured out Incognito’s identity. I’m going to wait just a little bit longer to see if my new hunch plays out. I don’t feel lucky at the moment -- if you know what I mean -- and I certainly don’t wanna end up kicked off the force.... |

My main thought was that you would be a very clever and sadistic Incognito, to help everyone protect the victims, all the while hiding your own identity. It would be highly amusing as Incognito, IMO, to watch the cops like that.

Mmm...I think you’re allowed to PM me information, right? Let me know about it, maybe I can come up with something. |
