| Wikihelp...*g* Nice word. I like. And I’m fairly sure that AD’s dead-on with his guessing. He found a nice big clue in one of the assassinations that I missed. |

Here goes nothing....
DainIronfoot, you are under arrest.
You are charged with:
1. Disturbing the peace,
2. Threatening officers of the law,
3. Assaulting officers of the law,
4. Assaulting civilians,
5. Assault with intent to kill,
6. Obstruction of Justice,
7. Homicide,
and
8. Petty theft. (That last note was written on a sheet of paper stolen from my desk!)
Edit: forgot a few charges and evidences...
9. Destruction of police property (remember when you chiseled that jawbone stuff into our sidewalk?)
10. Breaking and entering (how else did you get into the station to write clues on our whiteboard?)
I’ll let CG read you your rights.
The evidence against you is as follows:
1. During the NBarden assassination, he (NB) was protecting you. During elf lvr’s assassination, Incognito noted that "...again had no reason to suspect me of anything besides a friendly visit. I was a little more out of place than last time though, had anyone but him been around to see it. " Hence, Incognito was not out of place at all when the cops were around you.
2. Both you and Incognito were inactive Dec. 1-3. This was when Incognito missed his own deadline.
3. "Chuckle." Incognito has used the word once publicly, and once again in a PM to me saying that the next incognito slot has already been called. (in the PM, he said that someone had asked him if he was me, and his response was a "chuckle"...) Not like everyone hasn’t used the word, but you seem to use it consistently, whereas no-one else does. This was confirmed by a Pst Search.
4. "Come come, gentlemen. You’re not even trying." You are the only person to use "gentlemen" consistently (outside of the phrase "ladies & gentlemen," anyways...)
5. You have a love of lore on your cards; always include it on your DCs. Incog has used a clue based on card lore.
6. You have been adding points to Boba Fett on the Star Wars Character game. Incognito has also added points to Boba Fett, saying that he won’t let a fellow assassin go out. Your other contributions include Mara Jade, another assassin.
7. You and Incog are ALWAYS on within an hour of eachother.
8. Both you and Incognito have a knowledge of the strategy articles. |

Dain, you have the right to remain silent. Anything you say will be used against you. (i.e., I will write it down and crumple the paper up and bombard you with paper wads)
And whatever. No more rights. |

I was worried for a second there as i had seen Dain and Incognito signed in together before he confessed!
Congrats AD! Well played, you deserved to catch him as you played exceptionalyl well and solved most of the crimes.
Nice Incongitoing Dain. Very well played. |

I was amazed my run lasted this long. I felt like I was practically putting myself in cuffs with the NBarden/EL clue.
You missed a couple more obvious clues, though. A couple of times, I signed my letters with "regards". I have had "best regards" in my signature since...well, forever.
Also, in my last lem0nhead clue, I directly quoted from The Fellowship of the Ring with the "Consider your answer well, but not too long"...a quote made in the conversation between Sauron’s mysterious messenger to Erebor and Dáin Ironfoot. (The lore of Dáin’s LOTR TCG card is actually his response.) Again, thought I was practically throwing myself in prison with those clues.
So, what took you so long?!
Seriously, though...congratulations. Hope my run as the resident assassin was fun for ya’ll. I have a feeling my clues were far too easy sometimes, and I had a GREAT one cooked up for today that would have involved piecing PM clues together and some fun teamwork. But alas, ’twas not to be.
Officers (and especially CG and especially Drake, the Sherlock to my Moriarty)...you were most worthy opponents. I tip my hat to thee, and now....
*makes a break for it and vanishes into the night*
So long, coppers!
P.S. - I was indeed signed into both accounts sometimes, as lem0n noted. That’s a secret trick of mine that I may (or may not) pass along to the next Incognito. Mwaha. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones

Oh, and good moderators? Please split this off into its own topic, as I believe my replacement is ready to begin soon and it would be best if this thread was wiped clean in preparation.

Boy, whenever I finally get to be Incog, guess who’s first on my hit list! |
