Ach. And now I bow out. I stink at names/dates. I can tell you what happened, the order it happened in, and roughly the time (give or take a century), but not dates and names.

Just realized, where’s Korea? Or the end of the Cold War in the ’80s.

Um..."picked these" what? Did you forget to post the actual crises you picked?

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!

Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North!

I think he was referring to the Berlin Wall, Cuba Missile Crisis and the Vietnam War, maybe? Think
Trade With Me, I went to Middle Earth, and all I got was this stupid ring!

Indeed, those three crises I picked:

Berlin Wall
Cuba Missile Crisis
Vietnam War

Now I have all the characters, equally devided -as good as it got- by leaders, military people and spypeople. The cool thing is: my smartest student is given the role of dubble spy! The one who gave the US info about missiles on Cuba. Well, but now I need assignements, situations to which they have to respond to..For the Berlin Wall I have a nice one, cause’ Krushnev put an ultimatum to Kennedy being a newbee...but I need more....So think with me!

Ya know, I don’t know how reliable this story is, because I heard it third-hand, but supposedly at some point, one of the officers at the wall (US, I think, but maybe some other NATO nation) was involved in some sorta conspiracy. My grandfather received orders to set directional explosives off next to the wall, directed so the there wouldn’t be any actual damage, and air-raid sirens started going off on both sides.
His superior was "transferred" shortly after the incident.

I dunno if that helps, but it might give you an idea of some sorta small-level incident which could’ve been a major problem, and see if your students can successfully diffuse the situation.... if that’s even their goal.
Never kid about politicians. The more bizarre the joke, the more likely it is to come true.

In RPG’s do you have group assignments or individual assignments. With what kind of assignment should I go?...Should I let the teams work together, each with their own agenda, or should I give them individual tasks..Like Krushnev meating with Kennedy, stuff like that? And their millitary guys to find out what weapons they have...some geographic stats so they know what to do?.....
