The Watcher in the Water-13(-1) When I was a kid, I used to use squid as fishing bait. |

You must have been a strange, strange child.
...or...
How’d you keep the hook from melting?
...or...
Yeah, what’s a pound of fresh Balrog run for these days? Back in my day, you could get a whole bucketfull for $.39!
...or...
I used that to catch a bluegill once, cooked it, and the darn thing came back as a whitefish!
Thank you, thank you. I’ll be here all week. Try the Balrog cutlet! |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Spammers really are amazing creatures. You can learn all there is to know about their ways in a month. And yet, after a hundred years, they can still surprise you. |

Didn’t use a hook. Just threw in the ’Rog, then blew the fish away with a shotgun when they came up.

Your day wasn’t too long. The war overseas has really spiked the price; it’s almost $5 a bucketful!
