It was over. I had had enough. I had even tried to kill myself, but buckled under and failed. My career was over regardless. I could no longer keep up the mantle of assassin. I made a call to the police force.
"Hippo won’t be coming in today."
Bunnydaman kindly asked why.
"Hippo has been bad, hippo has killed people." then I hung up.
For I had a secret, that wasn’t vbery secretive in fact, hippo was SoP. But hippo had been the assassin, he had talked to the last assassin before he was taken to prison. But now it was over. I walked to the edge of the river and threw my gun in. Then myself. Hippo was dead, but SoP lived.
the police never found the body.
OK you are all probably seriously confused so I will sum things up nicely.
Fingolfin made this account a while back, and he and gagnut used it, then they gave myself and bob the password. we gave him an avatar and a revamped siggy. I started using him to look att he members lounge when I didn’t want to login as SoP. I would sometimes accidentally post as him, so I gave him a personality to disguise him with. thus the third person. I started entering him as a cop, and generally got the clues when I was logged in as him. Then, I became incog, got bored and did this.
This is the end of hippo...or is it?

| I think this game is dead now. Interest, effort and responses have been dropping all the time. Since the heady days of working with Super Sleuths mm and NK, we saw a late revival with CG and AD but this round has confirmed my belief its redundant. |

| it was partially my fault. I was late with clues, early with killings and such. but yes, interest is dropping. it just starts getting repetitive after 12-13 times. |

Sadly, it does seem to be dead/dieing.
And I had a dang good -- and, I think, original -- idea for if/when my turn as Incog finally rolled around.
Oh well. Maybe interest will revive someday. |

I KNEW IT! I called it on November 4th, you didn’t deny it but kinda side-stepped the question. I decided to bide my time, because I couldn’t prove it, but I knew the truth would come out.
And when I said I had a hunch who it was who murdered me, I was right. But I didn’t post it because I then looked and saw that SoP had already been arrested, which confused me mightily. I had forgotten about SoP’s double identity.
