people are getting older...its been around for 2 years now. Connor’s gone. AP’s gone, Bib, for the most part AC. syndrome’s been gone forever. I mean, most of your members have left.
yes we had good times, but M-H is right, D killed the game, and thus this site.
I mean it used to take me half an hour to an hour to spam. almost an entire page of new DC’s a day. 10 open LOTR discussion threads...
as I see it we can hope for two things
A hobbit LOTR TCG to get things going again
The return of Pipsqueak!! (aside from his twin elf lvr |

Well, The Hobbit WILL be coming to the big screen in 2010, I believe.
Yes, things are slowing down, and especially lately. But it ain’t dead yet. I know I’M not going anywhere until my DC sets are complete, which will be...well, a while.
Don’t get too discouraged, though. I mean look...Foresight, a member that’s been gone for half a year, suddenly turned up in the DC forum. A couple others are on a trip right now, and some that I KNOW will return (like AP) just haven’t since the forums were down around New Years.
Stick with it, boys and girls. Every forum community has its ups and downs. CC’s golden age is certainly over, but the old girl still has some life left in her.
And I’ll be posting some interesting stuff over the next week or so that may give things a shot in the arm. |
Best regards, Dáin, Vice Aftokrator of the Chosen Ones
Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

SoP, you should be ashamed of yourself. 7000 posts?
anyway
Are you sure? I heard from a LotR freak that they weren’t going to make it because new line couldn’t get what’shisface as director. |

haven’t I been around enough to be considered one of the old-timers?
Anyway, here’s supposedly a Hobbit movie preview:

I’m sticking around, and that’s final. Let’s go out and keep making DC’s, YEAH!!! |

Bump.
It’s a true fact that Cobra goes up and down often, and right now it’s at a down.
I have some ideas to get it back up, though and that is an awesome Idea for a DC contest. Which everyone is gonna join, by the way. |

IIRC, we had this topic awhile back.
I pledged to reamin until I had completed at least one DC set. At the rate CoH is moving, that’ll be forever.
CC may be dieing, or it may not be. Either way, it’s not dead yet. |

That got really fustrating when you had something good for TPBM and someone beat you to it. Also, old timers makes it sound like a bad thing, maybe like a veteran or people who’ve been around awhile. I don’t feel like being old but it has been a pretty long time. |
