Heheh. Just doing my duty. Valentine’s Day IS a major part of the Husband Contract, after all. And she’s worth it. We’ve both been pretty stressed lately...a night to ourselves is well deserved.

Yeah, I can imagine that will change things somewhat. But as I’ve told Maiden in the past...it never hurts to lock them in the attic for a couple hours. They’re survive until you’re ready to deal with them again.
I am, of course, only kidding. |

Check out Lasting Alliances, The Road Ahead, and Ages of Middle-earth, three of my five dream card sets that make up Wars of the Ring. Oh, and I have a trade list now!
Also, if you're into DCs or RPGs (or even if you're not!), check out Realms of Middle-earth, the sequel to CG's "DC Adventure", Realms of the North! |

Sorta. 1.) I like wearing black, for some odd reason...
Aha!
Me and my girlfriend went to see that new movie "Jumper." Which was amazing, by the way, even though the "open-ended ending" is reminicent of Pirates 2 & 3. There’s a British guy who jumps off a building and hits someone with a bus. Double decker. Can’t not love that movie.
Probably going to get her something for V-Day, but... late, obviously, and I have no clue what. |

I’ve been asked too many times if I have a girlfriend. To which I always respond...
"I have 3 sisters so I know better."

But the roses are wilting, the violets are dead, the sugar

Of loving beauty you float with grace.
If only you could hide your face.
Kind, intelligent, loving and hot.
This describes everything you are not.
I want to feel your sweet embrace,
But don’t take that paper bag off of your face.

My love, you take my breath away.

I see your face when I am dreaming.

I got the girl I’ve been trying to woo a sweet card with some sweet nothings written inside; she’s got a boyfriend and she said she didn’t think he’d be getting her anything (a most perfect chance for me, yes?)
And yes, I usually chase after the taken girls. I’ve noticed that recently.
Oh, and then a friend of mine told me she has had a crush on me for a while and "wanted something more". I saw that coming for a while - I’m not bad at reading people - and had to turn her down.
One of my more interesting Vdays. |

Ah a very successful V-day! I surprised my wife at work with 24 roses and lunch. Met up with her after work and got her sized up for a Gregory backpack. Bought that and went to eat at some tiny Italian place that would have been nice if we didn’t have to wait 50 minutes to get a table even with a "reservation." Why take a reservation if you don’t hold to them??? I almost walked out but I didn’t want to ruin the night. Anyways it turned out ok since the food was excellent.
No comment on the rest of the night. |
